He was accepted by The Juilliard School but decided on The Neighborhood Playhouse and Meisner after a meeting with Sydney Pollack, Robert Duvall, Gregory Peck, and Dabney Coleman.
Stopping by a open call, he auditioned and found out on the local news
that he was to be flown to Hollywood for a Studio screen test.
