Mastermind Thinker outruns Barry in the Mid Season Finale ‘Don’t Run’ of The Flash

Warning : Potential spoilers for The Flash ahead.

After riding high with epic crossover event ‘Crisis on Earth X’, The Flash continues its exceptional form. This week’s mid season finale “Don’t Run” is filled with slow thrills and twists. Devoe’s immaculate game plan to defeat Barry Allen resembles a perfect game of chess where all his pieces were moved according to plan.

As the night before a nasty storm is calm and cool, the condition of the team Flash resembles the same. They were having fun after the huge wedding moment, Ralph Dibny (an excellent Hartley Sawyer) returns to Star Labs and started hanging out with Killer Frost and Co. We have a gift opening session with the couple and one of them played a pivotal role at the end.

The best part of this cliffhanger episode is the writing. The writers had arranged the twists in

The Thinker Makes Himself Known In The Flash Midseason Finale Trailer

Now that the sheer awesomeness that was the “Crisis on Earth-x” crossover is behind us, we’re almost ready to go about business as usual. But when you factor in that next week will see each Arrowverse series air their midseason finales, it may take us a little more time to catch our breath.

As you may have noticed, the crossover’s commercial breaks lacked trailers for said midseason finales, perhaps because the network didn’t want to take anybody out of their fluid viewing experiences. Well, thankfully, the promos we’ve been waiting for are starting to trickle online, with The Flash being chief among them.

In the footage provided, we see the Thinker fully put his deadly game into motion. To this point, he’s enjoyed a sort of anonymity and toyed with the S.

Arrowverse Midseason Finale Dates And Synopses Revealed

Even though we have what appears to be an awesome crossover in the form of “Crisis on Earth-x” to look forward to next week, the reality of the situation is that the bulk of whatever plots unfolding across each of the Arrowverse‘s individual shows will have to be put on hold for the time being. This doubly builds anticipation for their reprisals, especially when you consider the cliffhangers that both Supergirl and The Flash left us on this week.

Well, expect some major payoff throughout the first full week of December when The CW airs midseason finales for its DC TV shows. First on the block is Supergirl, which will see Samantha finally and reluctantly emerge as this year’s big bad, that being Reign, in the episode appropriately titled, um, “Reign.”

"...when 'Mr. Mxyzptlk' (Peter Gadiot), a magical imp, shows up on Earth and declares his love for 'Kara' (Melissa Benoist), she tries to let him down easy, thinking him harmless.

"However, he decides it's a challenge and starts to wreak havoc on 'National City'. 'Mon-El' (Chris Wood) has seen beings like Mr. Mxyzptlk on 'Daxam'...

"...and knows how dangerous they can be. He and Kara argue over how to get rid of Mr. Mxyzptlk, further straining their relationship.

"Meanwhile, 'Alex' (Chyler Leigh) and 'Maggie' (Floriana Lima) celebrate their first 'Valentine's Day' together..."

'Mister Mxyzptlk' (pronounced 'mix-yez-pittle-ik'), is a fifth dimensional 'imp' that has plagued DC superheroes in comic books since 1944, appearing in animation and video games.

Mister Mxyzptlk Makes Kara Danvers An Intriguing Offer In New Supergirl Promo

You know, in hindsight, perhaps “intriguing” isn’t the best word. In this first look at next week’s episode of Supergirl, Mister Mxyzptlk arrives in National City to creepily ask for Kara Danvers’ hand in marriage, something the Girl of Steel isn’t too pleased with, especially after he conjures up a wedding dress for her.

For those of you unfamiliar with the villain, Mister Mxyzptlk is a reality warping bad guy who’s been a thorn in Superman’s side for decades, and while he’s often harmless enough, he also happens to be incredibly powerful and capable of changing the world as we know it on a whim.

It’s Cyborg Superman Vs. Mon-El In New Clip From Monday’s Episode Of Supergirl

This past Monday’s episode of Supergirl featured the return of the original Hank Henshaw as Cyborg Superman. Now, a new clip has been released which features the robotic villain heading to National City’s alien bar to take on Mon-El in a battle which doesn’t end up going particularly well for the Daxamite refugee.

When we first met Hank in Supergirl, many fans suspected that he would be revealed as Cyborg Superman when his eyes glowed red in the final few moments of the pilot. However, the big twist was that he was actually Martian Manhunter and that he’d replaced Hank years earlier when the Deo boss tried to murder the Girl of Steel’s adoptive father.

Bringing him back in this new villainous role is an interesting move on the show’s part, and for more on what to expect from “Medusa,” here’s the official

Thanksgiving Dinner Is Ruined By An Unexpected Surprise In New Supergirl Clip

The CW has released the first clip from next Monday’s episode of Supergirl (the first part of the four night “Invasion!” crossover), and in it we get a quick tease of what’s to come when The Flash and Cisco make their way to the Earth that Kara Danvers calls home.

Before that happen though, it seems that Thanksgiving dinner isn’t exactly going smoothly for the Danvers clan. A tipsy Alex is clearly ready to come out of the closet to her friends and family, but there’s a fair bit of tension between her and the Girl of Steel. Before she can spill the beans, Alex is interrupted by one of Vibe’s breaches, the portals he creates to travel between realities.

Jesse Quick Finally Suits Up In First Images From Next Week’s Episode Of The Flash

See Full Gallery Here

The CW has released a gallery of images from next week’s episode of The Flash, and in them we get to see a lot of very interesting reveals. The most significant has to be our first look at Jesse Wells suited up as Jesse Quick, a speedster from the comic books who, in the TV show, hails from Earth-2 and is the daughter of Harrison Wells.

Your eyes aren’t deceiving you though; Jesse is indeed wearing a slightly modified version of the costume worn by Trajectory when that villain appeared in The Flash season 2.

The next big reveal is the return of Captain Cold. The fan-favourite villain was killed off in the season 1 finale of Legends of Tomorrow, so how exactly is he alive and well here? Chances are it has something to do with Barry Allen’s recent trip back in time, as

The Flash: Captain Cold Returns In Next Week’s Episode, The World Still Wonders How

Disclaimer: This article has spoilers for Legends of Tomorrow Season 1

A part of me was a bit disappointed when Wentworth Miller’s Leonard Snart (a.k.a. Captain Cold) left The Flash to pursue his own ambitions in the Arrow-verse offshoot Legends of Tomorrow. It took a while, but not only did I grow accustomed to Miller’s campy portrayal of the fan favorite Rogues villain, he quickly became one of my favorite parts of the show.

His portrayal only got better as Legends of Tomorrow progressed. No, the show wasn’t the strongest (I think it leans a bit to far in the direction of camp for my taste), but I appreciated the development they gave for both Snart and Rory for the season, and was frustrated when the series decided to kill him off in a blaze of glory ("There are no strings on me.").

In my mind,

Meet “The New Rogues” In This Extended Trailer For The Flash

It comes as no surprise that The Flash continues to astonish in what has so far been a thoroughly entertaining third season. And, if this newly released extended trailer for next week’s episode, “The New Rogues,” properly reflects how awesome that offering may be, then it’s probably safe to say the trend will continue.

A major draw in this particular episode comes in the form of Mirror Master making his long awaited debut. You see, he happens to be one of the quintessential Flash villains from the comic books, so it comes as somewhat of a surprise the producers have waited this long to incorporate him. But, then again, it’s also reassuring to know that not every resource was jammed into the first season or two and there’s still much to be tapped as the series races toward a prosperous future.

Meet “The New Rogues” In Description For The Flash Season 3, Episode 4

The Flash Season 3 Gallery 1 of 28

At the end of this week’s season 3 premiere of The Flash, Barry Allen once again reset reality, and while he was back in familiar surroundings following the events of Flashpoint, it quickly became apparent that not everything is the same. That’s clearly going to be an ongoing plot point this year too, as the description for episode 4 reveals that Captain Cold is now alive and well.

The villain died in the season 1 finale of Legends of Tomorrow, but something has clearly changed in this timeline as he’s now alive and being tracked down by Mirror Master. His appearance in The Flash is long overdue, and while the title of the episode – “The New Rogues” – points to Cold finally assembling the team of villains, it sounds like they’re going to be at odds here.

Zoom Reveals A Major Secret In New Images From The Next Episode Of The Flash

The CW has released a trio of images from the next episode of The Flash, and as well as revealing that Zoom goes after Wally West, we see in the gallery above that the youngster is about to learn that Barry Allen is secretly the Fastest Man Alive – something that’s sure to shake up the status quo for Team Flash in a major way moving forward.

For more details on what to expect from this episode of The Flash (which is titled “Enter Zoom”), here’s the official synopsis:

Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry (Grant Gustin) believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile,

It’s The Flash “Versus Zoom” In Revealing New Episode Description

Despite the fact that it’s already been confirmed that Zoom is really Hunter Zolomon in The Flash, it’s hard to escape the feeling that there’s still more to his story than meets the eye, especially as he pretended to be The Flash on Earth-2 and has a mysterious masked figure locked up in his lair with a metal mask over their face.

For further details on what to expect from the upcoming episode, “Versus Zoom,” here’s the official description courtesy of The CW:

Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry (Grant Gustin) believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has the power to re-open the breach. The CW Releases Official Synopsis For The Flash Season 2 Episode 18 'Versus Zoom'

Barry Is Ready To Face Zoom; Hunter Zoloman’S Story Is Revealed Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry (Grant Gustin) believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zoloman’s (Teddy Sears) painful story on Earth-2 is revealed. Stefan Pleszcynski directed the episode from a script written by Joe Peracchio and David Kob. Seems a bit silly that after everything that's occurred between the two, Barry would put his faith in something he acquires from Reverse-Flash as the means to a victory over Zoom. What are the odds that the tachyon device malfunctions or secretly siphons off Barry's speed and sends it to Eobard? We'll find out for sure

First Look Promo For Supernatural Season 11, Episode 12: “Don’t You Forget About Me”

After delivering a fantastic episode that very much followed the classic monster hunting formula, while also having some great moments involving the Winchesters in “Into The Mystic,” Supernatural looks to bring back some recurring characters in next week’s offering.

“Don’t You Forget About Me” will not only see the return of Sheriff Jody Mills, whom fans have become quite accustomed to seeing in recent years, but also Claire (daughter of Jimmy, Castiel’s vessel) and Alex, who has mostly been name dropped since her first appearance. Having all these characters under one roof should make for some combustible elements and I sense the “Spn Family” will take to social media rather quickly after this episode airs.

On that note, the plot thread to keep an eye on in this episode is that Claire has not only become a hunter, but has been attacking humans and accusing them of being monsters.

However, Sheriff Mills tells Sam and Dean that Claire has been getting into trouble lately as she’s been attacking normal people and accusing them of being monsters. With the first season of The Flash ending with the opening of the Multiverse, the first few episodes of the second season spent their time setting up the show’s new paradigm. What couldn’t be forgotten, however, is that the team itself needed to be rebuilt after having lost its most crucial member in the former Harrison Wells, aka Eobard Thawne. With Dr. Stein also having lost Ronnie, and by extension his stabilising force, the past two episodes have shifted the focus towards rebuilding the team, adding new members to replace those who are gone and add more strengths.
