Luciano Pigozzi was born on January 10, 1927 in Novellara, Reggio Emilia, Italy. He was an actor and production manager, known for Yor, the Hunter from the Future (1983), General Della Rovere (1959) and Two Women (1960). He died on June 14, 2008 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

Although he is credited in Trappola diabolica (1988), Cop Game (1988), Robowar - Robot da guerra (1988), Zombi 3 (1988), and Nato per combattere (1989) as an actor, often getting prominent billing in the credits, Pigozzi doesn't actually appear in any of them.
Was a good friend of cult director Antonio Margheriti. Pigozzi acted in 17 films directed by Margheriti.
Often nick-named 'the Italian Peter Lorre' because of his strong resemblance to Lorre.
