Ben Piazza was born on July 30, 1933 in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA as Benito Daniel Piazza. He was an actor, known for The Bad News Bears (1976), The Blues Brothers (1980) and Mask (1985). He was married to Dolores Dorn. He died on September 7, 1991 in Sherman Oaks, California, USA.

Died of AIDS-related cancer and was survived by his companion of 18 years, Wayne Tripp.
Came to Hollywood and was given the co-starring role opposite Gary Cooper in The Hanging Tree (1959) on the strength of his Canadian film debut in A Dangerous Age (1957).
Debuted on stage as a Venetian Senator in "Othello" in 1952, and won the Theatre World Award in 1959 for his role in "Kataki."
Attended Princeton University and was a member of the Actor's Studio.
Was a playwright on the side. His 1969 play "Khaki Blue" co-starred one-time wife actress Dolores Dorn. Also the author of the novel, "The Exact and Very Strange Truth", which was published in 1964.
