Producer of the Academy Award-winning "Monster" starring Charlize Theron, Clark Peterson has produced numerous feature films and television movies. He is currently producing Damon Wayans' feature directorial debut, "Behind the Smile," and also recently returned from Cuba, where he is producing a documentary about the Cuban hip-hop scene.
A graduate of Stanford University, Peterson began his career working in development and production for producer Roger Corman, and later joined the Walt Disney Studios as an executive for several years. He subsequently then served as a senior production executive and producer at independent companies such as Image Organization, MDP Worldwide, and Interlight Pictures.
Prior to Monster he produced and executive produced such films as "The Watcher" with Keanu Reeves and James Spader, "Table for One" starring Rebecca DeMornay, and "Tart" with Dominique Swain, Brad Renfro, and Melanie Griffith. He is currently developing and producing a number of film and television projects.
After graduating from Stanford University, he studied French literature at the Université de Strasbourg, France.
