25 June 2016 7:36 AM, PDT | www.themoviebit.com | See recent TheMovieBit news »

While Tom Hanks was never the first choice for Dan Brown’s heroic Harvard symbology professor (William Peterson all the way!!!), there’s no denying he and director Ron Howard have done a good job with previous Brown adaptions, The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons, book order be damned. Their latest team-up, Inferno, is coming our way later this year, and a new trailer has come our way, giving us greta taste of what to expect. If the the first teaser trailer didn’t clue you in, this is a much different beast than the first two movies, coming off as much more action orientated this time round as Langdon must halt the spread of a deal plague. It may be a bit of a shock to the system for fan so fetch series, but does promise some great escapist entertainment. Released: 14th October (Irl/U.K)/ 28th October (U. »

Scream Factory set to send the Tooth Fairy your way with May 24th Collector’s Edition release of Manhunter!!; Full Specs Announced!

While a lot of people tend to reference The Silence Of The Lambs as their introduction to all things Hannibal Lecter, I grew up adoring the hell out of Michael Mann’s 1986 thriller Manhunter. Brian Cox did one hell of a job as the notorious cannibal, with both William Petersen (To Live And Die In La) and Tom Noonan (Heat, Late Phases) aiding in making the film an absolute classic, one of the few perfect thrillers.

Thanks to the wonderful gang at Scream Factory, it looks like we’re getting an Epic Collector’s Edition Bluray release of the film, one that is Very loaded with brand new special features and two version of the film. Will you fright fanatics be picking this one up? God knows I’ll be.
