He acted in Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's musical, "My Fair Lady," at the Derby Playhouse in Derby, Derbyshire, England with John Humphry, Cookie Weymouth, Ted Merwood, George Woolley, and Louise Gold in the cast. Mark Woolgar was director.
