It's lullaby time. The Baby Daddy TV show has been cancelled after six seasons on Freeform. In a couple of Instagram posts, co-executive producer Heidi Clements made it clear the family comedy was drawing to a close and THR has since confirmed there will be no season seven. The Freeform series “Baby Daddy” will end at the conclusion of its sixth season, Variety has confirmed.
The May 22 season finale will now serve as the series finale. The series followed Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), a young man in New York City living a bachelor’s life with his buddy Tucker (Tahj Mowry) and his brother Danny (Derek Theler). Their lives are turned upside down when they came home one day to find a baby girl left on the doorstep by an ex-girlfriend of Ben’s. It also starred Melissa Peterman and Chelsea Kane.
The series was created and executive produced by Dan Berendsen. Heidi Clements, Vince Cheung, Ben Montanio and Michael Lembeck also serve as executive producers. Aside from “Pretty Little Liars,” which is ending with its seventh season, “Baby Daddy” was one of Freeform’s longest running series, ahead of shows like “The Fosters,” “Young & Hungry,” and “Switched at Birth.”

In a cooking segment on People Now on Tuesday, the Baby Daddy star took a moment to shout out to her former Reba costar, Reba McEntire, for her birthday. “She loves Mexican food; she loves margaritas, so I feel like this could work,” Peterman says before whipping up her signature Mexican Pizza recipe. “I know I’m not making her cake, but this could work.”

Melissa Peterman is all about experimenting in the kitchen.
“I consider myself a brave cook, others may say undisciplined but I think brave sounds better,” the Baby Daddy star tells People in this week’s issue. “I’m not afraid to doctor or change a recipe or just throw things together because I think it would taste great.”
Peterman is especially talented at transforming leftovers, whether it’s turning steak into a delicious stir-fry, or adding soda to a sauce for a leftover roast chicken. “I’m good at foraging and putting things together,” she says.
