Karchi Perlmann writes, directs and produces commercial and narrative
film projects. He wrote and produced his first commercial "The Strokes
of Genius" in 1993 and soon there after I founded Envisage Media
Productions, producing commercial films, music videos, corporate image
pieces. In 1997 he produced Rose's (AKA Confession of a Florist), a
feature length independent film, which won multiple festival awards and
was released theatrically in '99. He also produced the critically
acclaimed/award winning film "Broke Sky," acquired by IFC Films in
2007. He wrote produced and directed the critically acclaimed short
foreign fiction film, "Vacsora" (The Dinner). It received the Honorable
Mention award at the prestigious Venice Film Festival in Italy. The
film subsequently won over 30 awards; among them the Grand Jury Prize
at Palm Springs International Shortfest, which qualified "Vacsora" for
Academy Nomination in the short fiction category. He also won multiple
awards for commercials the most recent ones are Telly awards in the
technology industry. Karchi's is ability of creating narrative pieces
without the use of dialogue is also of note.
