Like most of us, director Tim Sullivan collected trading cards as a kid. What better way to pay homage to his childhood passion than with a series of ten virtual trading cards of the Victims from his upcoming flick 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams?

Just days ago we introduced you to the first beyond red band trailer for Tim Sullivan's 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams. Turns out it was the wrong version. Pull down your shades and turn up your sound!
Here's a quick note from Tim explaining:
"Earlier this week, I sent out a note along with what I called the super exclusive "not safe for work" 2001 Maniacs: Field Of Screams Beyond Red Band Trailer that I cut with my editors Adam Robitel and Dan Flesher for the Big Bear Horror Film Festival back in October.
Yup, this was meant to be the "trailer the studio didn't want you to see" with all the Gore, Nudity and Politically Incorrect Humor that this film is getting both applauded and crucified for! At the bottom of the note I attached a link- and guess what?

So you thought you saw the "Beyond Red Band" trailer for 2001 Maniacs: Field Of Screams, Tim Sullivan's sequel arriving on DVD July 20 from First Look Studios, but the funny thing is... you didn't. Any cinephile out there knows the difference between a green and a red band trailer, but for the sake of clarity -- green band trailers feature nothing objectionable, and red band trailers give us a taste of the good stuff that we want like gore and maybe a glimpse or two at, shall we say, some less than family-friendly situations. But what if we went beyond red band?
That's exactly what director Tim Sullivan has done with this special sneak peek at his latest film, 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams, along with the following message:

The official website was launched today for 2001 Maniacs: Field Of Screams, Tim Sullivan's sequel arriving on DVD July 20 from First Look Studios. The site features a look at the maniacs, a red band trailer (now available below), clips forthcoming, and more. Starring Bill Moseley as the new Mayor Buckman, after the sheriff refuses to cover up any further for the maniacs causing all the missing persons in the area, they're forced to hit the road in what's dubbed the "Pleasant Valley Traveling Road Show," where the maniacs head across country in hopes of gathering more victims. Whilst we’ve known for a while that Anchor Bay UK are set to release Tim Sullivan’s 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams on DVD and Blu-ray on July 5th, there was no news on a release of the film across the pond. However that has all now changed with the announcement that First Look Studios has picked up the film for Us distribution, they will premiere the film at the Texas Frightmare Film Festival on April 29th before releasing it on Blu-ray and DVD on July 20th.
