Trivia:

After several years at the top Peers left for Australia, where he stayed for two years. When he returned to the UK, his fans had all but forgotten him and he had to work back to stardom via the club circuit, which had taken over from the variety theatres. He made a comeback with "Please Don't Go", which reached #3 in the UK Singles Chart in 1969. See more »
