Unfortunately, the fate of Fox's freshman series, Pitch, is still up in the air.
It is arguably one of the best new series of the year, but it has not picked up the fan base and ratings that it deserves. It's a real shame.
Is television ready for a female-driven sports drama? I'd like to think so. Especially when that female is the talented Kylie Bunbury, and her co-star is Mark-Paul Gosselaar. They are just two of the reasons why this series deserves to be picked up.
It would be a travesty if we weren't graced with their talent in such a groundbreaking and inspiring series.
If you're a fan of heartwarming sports family dramas like Friday Night Lights, I urge you to check out Pitch.

John Stamos had a pretty romantic proposal for one of his biggest fans.
Director and editor Doug Cox reached out to Stamos to see if the actor would help him propose to his girlfriend, Katrina Firenze, who is a huge Uncle Jesse fan. "Let me just start by throwing a number at you," Cox tells the 53-year-old heartthrob in a video posted to Facebook. "Thirty-four percent, John. Thirty-four percent. That is the percentage of space the entire Full House series takes up on my DVR."

"My girlfriend, Katrina, is the most amazing human being I’ve ever met. She’s kind, she’s genuine, she can win over a room in seconds. I want to marry this woman, but there’s a brick wall in the way: a six-foot-tall Greek god with better hair than me," he continues. "And, John, I »
The voting for Best Vines Ever is well underway over on Snakt. And fans are creating their own compilations and remixes from the more than 150,000 six-second clips originally created by over 400 of the site's biggest stars. One interesting throwback one we stumbled upon comes by way of Snakt user @lemonhead, who aggregated the first uploads from 10 well-known enterprising and early creators into one creative mix.
It's both interesting and entertaining to see the first efforts from the laundry list of names below and to see how quickly they all joined the platform. Vine officially launched on January 24, 2013 and by the end of May 2013, all of these individuals were already on board. They also pushed the creative boundaries of the six-second, looping, no-uploading, no-editing, in-camera-only application from the start, figuring out ingenious ways to make things compelling in a very short timeframe from Day 1. Here they are in order of appearance »

The stunning 30-year-old stopped by Et earlier this month, and opened up about a new short film she created with Stamos, titled Ingenueish.
“It's actually about being an actor in L.A. It's basically kind of a roast of myself, the whole thing,” McHugh said jokingly. “[John] directed it, I'm in it, we wrote it together and we had a lot of fun doing it. Josh Peck helped us out with it too and Brittany Furlan… she’s in it too.”
Clearly, blurring personal and professional lines was a positive experience for McHugh. “They say if you can do a film together, you can do anything together,” she explained. “I'm very happy to say we survived the filming process and we're in editing now. We're both still alive so it's great!”
