From the Press Release
Act III Licensing and Killer Tomato Entertainment, Inc. (Kte, Inc.), have inked a multi-year licensing agreement signaling a brand re-launch for one of the industry’s most enduring titles.
“Killer Tomatoes®” made its mark by capitalizing on a title that Art Week called “one of the ten best of all time.” The micro-budgeted 1978 original was a midnight show mainstay and a pioneer in the eclectic “World’s Worst Films” market.
The comedy-horror spectacle spawned three sequels, Return of the Killer Tomatoes! (George Clooney), Killer Tomatoes Strike Back! and Killer Tomatoes Eat France! (John Astin), as well as the Fox Children’s Network" Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" Saturday morning animated series.
