The animated Batman And Harley Quinn film is taking shape, and now has a director attached...
While we twiddle our thumbs and wait for the double punch of the Dceu's live-action Wonder Woman and Justice League movies, Warner Bros and DC Entertainment continue to skip along in their own little (arguably better) animated universe.
They've just announced that they're moving forward with their Batman And Harley Quinn film in earnest by tapping director Sam Lie to take charge of the project. He's previously worked on Teen Titans: The Judas Contract, 2016's unfortunate misstep The Killing Joke, and Justice League Vs Teen Titans under their watchful eye, so it looks like it'll be a fairly smooth process all in all.

Although Nickelodeon have knocked it out of the park with their 2013 3D animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, some fans of the franchise have been clamouring for its 2D roots of the 1980s. They got their wish partially in the season 4 episode “Trans-Dimensional Turtles” which saw the return of the original voice cast, but it’s been announced that a full 2D reboot will be released in 2018, titled Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
“The Turtles is a property that has reinvention in its DNA, which keeps it fresh and relevant to every new generation while satisfying the demand from its adult fans,” said Cyma Zarghami, president, Nickelodeon Group. “Turtles has been an incredibly important franchise for us since we reignited it five years ago, and we’re excited for the new series to take the characters in a different direction with more humor, a younger and lighter feel and all-new dimensions to explore. »

Oscar night is this Sunday, and one of the many questions we’ll be pondering besides who the winners are likely to be is how so many actresses get away with plunging necklines, thigh-high slits, and backless gowns on national television without revealing anything. Some of their Spanx, thong, and double-sided tape secrets are revealed in a new Racked article on “What Celebrities Wear Under Those Red Carpet Dresses.”
The article delves into the MacGyver-like tactics (one option: clear shipping tape) used to keep starlets in a sleek silhouette that will refrain from revealing too much on camera. Stylist Karen Raphael describes a variety of methods:
Raphael tells me some of the most challenging bra-less complications come by way of extremely thin fabrics. After trying silicone covers, fabric covers, medical tape, and even Band-Aids for a client’s award-show outfit, she wound up Scotch-taping an “X” over each nipple »

Alopex is alone, her psyche reeling from Kitsune’s mind control. With Raphael and Nobody searching for her, will Alopex be able to find her way back to the side of good?
You can’t spend as long reading a series as I have without gaining favourites. Writers, artists, characters…it’s going to happen. Without solicitations or any future knowledge spoiling things, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this month’s Tmnt adventure has been drawn by one of my favourite artists. As soon as I saw the first page of Tmnt #66 I knew I was looking at Sophie Campbell’s work. This immediately set high expectations, but there was nothing to worry about.
I could go on and on about how beautiful this issue is. The way the snow affects how clearly we see each character. The snow itself »

Did that just happen?!
I think we need a minute to process this and breathe. There's no way she's dead! After everything that happened in the first season, I'm not ready to say goodbye.
On Shadowhunters Season 2 Episode 4, a powerful smoke demon came into the picture and killed almost anyone who got in its way. Luckily, most of our core group lived to see another day from the rampage within the Institute. But a few familiar faces didn't make it out alive.
I can't believe Jocelyn is dead! Did you see this murder coming? I sure didn't...
When the show and commercials were teasing that one of the Shadowhunters we knew was going to die, I had guessed Lydia.
She seemed like the obvious choice. In retrospect, however, she was Too obvious. It was all there, though: She's big enough that we got to know her and be emotionally invested, »
