Deborah is a beauty and special effects make up artist skilled in film, high definition, and digital make up. She is a three-time Guild Award Winning Make up Artist for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl", "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Mad TV." and earned an Emmy Certificate for "Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows. An interest in art blossomed at age six when her mother enrolled her in a painting class. She studied theater at Loyola Marymount University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. In the early stages of her career, Deborah worked as a lab assistant in a make up lab which built a strong base for her work ethic and integrity. Her knowledge of independent and big budget movies, beauty, character, and special effects has led her to amazing projects such as "Stop-Loss," where she and her team created a double amputee burned blind American soldier on Victor Rasuk; "Crank 2" which featured an array of gritty character make up (prosthetic, tattoo, beauty, effects); and "The Crazies" where she was Radha Mitchell's Personal Make up Artist. In addition to film & television, Deborah is available for publicity junkets, print, commercials, and special appearances.
