Her husband, Robert Boner, filed a complaint against the hospital, claiming that his wife, who was suffering from severe depression, had told several nurses and other employees of the hospital of her suicidal intentions and that her security and well-being was disregarded. An investigation led to charges being filed against her treating doctor, Dr. Tap. Suicide had been a recurring theme in her films.
