After dragging us around for the better part of a season, Hawaii Five-0 (TV) finally delivers on some long needed answers with Steve McGarrett’s (Alex O’loughlin) past. And it also delivers on some high octane action and suspense, in addition to racking up a pretty damn big body count. A few of those bodies are people the fans might care about too. The details are a little sketchy, and I must be the only one who doesn’t remember who ‘Toothpick’ is, but he’s stalking Team Five-0. And predictably, everything starts out hunky-dory, until it all blows up in their faces. Danny (Scott Caan) is having issues with Rachel yet again, this time, she might be moving to Las Vegas with Stan and taking Grace with her. Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) is happy with his wife, Malia (Reiko Aylesworth) and Kono (Grace Park) is mending things with her boy-toy Adam. »

The closer we get to the end of the season, the more octane is pumped in to the plots. This episode was no different than any of the others centered around the nefarious Wo Fat (Mark Dacascos), emotionally driven, high action fun. But there was a lot of heart in this as well, and we have to thank Ian Anthony Dale and Grace Park for that. They’re sudden relationship snuck up and smacked us with a lot of feeling, and really, I can’t take Ian Anthony Dale crying. Ever again. Basically, we finally catch back up with Team Five-0’s fearless leader, Steve (Alex O’loughlin) in Tokyo. Remember, he took off to find Shelbourne and Joe White (Terry O’Quinn) a while back, and it seems he actually caught Wo Fat! Well, catching him and keeping him are two different things, as Steve will soon find out. »

Hawaii Five-0 (TV) has been fated to cross-over with its crime drama sister show, NCIS: Los Angeles (TV) for some time now. After Agent Kensi (Daniela Ruah) guested on the show back in the fall, it seemed that a clandestine team-up was ever present on the horizon. And while this epic fandom collision was a pretty fun romp, there were a few misses amongst the hits. But you got to admit, it’s always fun to watch the drama of fighting an impending plague. The facts are these: A frightened family calls the police when their enraged father and ex-husband starts beating on their doors. The Hpd arrives to find what I like to call, The Pus-Man. The guy is riddled with disease and dies right there, and anyone within a ten foot radius should have been running screaming for the hills. Max Bergman (Masi Oka) is called in, and »

John Cho may be only pushing 40, but even his career has been fraught with Asians and other minorities limited to small supporting roles in television, movies and commercials. But that's changing, and quickly. Not simply because the world is becoming more diversified in its mental state, but also because advertisers are realizing minority groups have dollars to spend. It's not just films like 2009's "Star Trek" that has helped, but also a number of television shows, including CBS' "Hawaii Five-0" that has a strong Asian cast, including "Lost" alum Daniel Dae Kim and "Battlestar Galactica" vixen Grace Park. However, the one actor that preceded Cho in the role of Hikaru Sulu feels there is still a long way to go. George Takei, who played Sulu in the original "Star Trek" series as well »

Sometimes, you just have to let your supporting characters shine. And there is no better example than giving a highly character-driven storyline to a secondary, yet beloved character like Max Bergman (Masi Oka). Back story, angst, and a little bit of suspense all rolled into a nicely done episode that stood on its own despite the lack of it's leading man, Alex O'loughlin. The facts are these: In an opening teaser that could have been snatched from any one of the multitude of Scream movies, a young girl is plucked from her broken-down car on the side of road in North Shore. She's found dead in a pineapple field later, and there are tell-tale signs on the body that disturbs Max greatly. Meanwhile, Steve has left Danny (Scott Caan) a "Dear Danno" letter explaining that he's got to don his Lone Ranger hat once again to seek his father's killer, »

It's time once again for the annual Vanity Fair television issue and this year's cover girls include "Homeland's" Claire Danes, "Downton Abbey's" Michelle Dockery, "Good Wife's" Julianna Margulies and "Modern Family's" Sofia Vergara. Can't argue with that line-up.
In the inside spread, "2 Broke Girls" Kat Dennings, "Bones" Emily Deschanel, "Good Wife's" Archie Panjabi, "Hawaii 5-0's" Grace Park, "Shameless" Emmy Rossum, "Revenge's" Emily Van Camp and "Scandal's" Kerry Washington are lounging about. You'll find no objections from us on that picture either.
Vanity Fair teases that all next week will be TV week, featuring "inside scoops on our featured shows, video interviews with TV-issue stars, best-of-all-time television slide shows, and a classic-tv quiz." So check back then and pick up the magazine, on newsstands next week.

She will reprise her role as McGarrett’s girlfriend, Lt. Catherine Rollins. We've been away from our Hawai'ian heroes for a while, but the lag in new episodes has not affected the fun factor once they return. Back on, and keeping a mix of fun in with the procedure, Hawaii Five-0 brings us a wonderful episode filled with blasts from the past that are sure to make even the old-school Five-0 fans cheer. After all, you can't go wrong when you have Ed Asner, can you? What is an episode without our handsome heroes cavorting about in the waves? Steve (Alex O'loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) take a break to catch a few waves and then argue about surf etiquette, when Steve's wayward sister, Mary (Taryn Manning) shows up. She's professing to be an airline attendant now, on the straight and narrow, and you can bet that isn't going to last long with this girl. True to form, Mary finds herself arrested »

Mass Effect is the Battlestar Galactica of gaming. Where hefty decisions on relationships with Cylons, good or evil, can alter the course of the universe’s ultimate fate. There are even women who can affect your life in the way Boomer/Sharon (Grace Park) and Six (Tricia Helfer) affected the lives of Commander William Adama and those aboard his warship. Mass Effect also draws its mythos from Stargate, where Relays allow ships to travel instantaneously across the universe – minus the whole chevron aspect. It’s a game where every moment urges you to play on. And despite an iffy ending, you have to remember that with any story the thrill lies in the journey.
The Mass Effect 3 adventure starts out on Earth. Bioware designed the game so that gamers new to the franchise could still enjoy it, while veteran franchise players could be rewarded for their adventures in past releases. »
