9 May 2014 2:57 AM, PDT | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

We’ve just received the following press release which confirms that hit Us TV show Ray Donovan will return to UK screens later this summer, airing exclusively on Sky Atlantic.

I must confess to having a soft spot for this gritty series about the L.A. based fixer, played by Liev Schrieber, and supporting cast that includes Jon Voight and, in the last season, the always reliable James Woods.

The show airs on Showtime in North American territories.

Here’s the full release.

9th May 2014: Sky today announce that Ray Donovan will return exclusively to Sky Atlantic this July for a second season. Set in the sprawling mecca of the rich and famous, the series stars Golden Globe nominee Liev Schreiber as La’s best professional fixer, the man called in to make the city’s celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls’ most complicated and combustible situations go away. »
