Cecil Owen (1873–1928)

British actor, primarily in America. Owen directed theatre productions and served as a casting director for the stage as well as for Paramount Pictures. He was also a professional playreader for a production agency. Following a week's illness, he died of diphtheria at 55 in Rockville Center, New York, and was buried there. See full bio »
