From Hollywood Crush: With a plot seemingly ripped from a lost Nicholas Sparks novel, the long-languishing teen comedy script "Pictures of You" is finally set for production.
According to Variety, the film is "set in a Florida resort town [and] centers on a teenage boy who finds a lost camera on the beach. After developing the film, he ends up on a quest to find the girl of his dreams, whose picture was discovered inside the camera."
Sounds a bit like "Message in a Bottle" meets "Letters to Juliet," right? We also thought it sounded like a perfect opportunity to take a seat on the Hollywood Crush Casting Couch to select the film's star-crossed lover leads. Producers, we hope you're listening!

Destiny Hope Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee, and is far better known today as Miley Cyrus, pop music sensation, film and television star, and trend-setting teen idol. Her father is the country/pop singer Billy Ray Cyrus and her mother is Leticia Cyrus (called "Tish"), and she's one of six children from both Billy Ray and Leticia, and from her parents' prior relationships. Destiny, the story goes, smiled so much as a child that she earned the nickname Smiley. It eventually stuck...sort of. The "S" fell away and Smiley became Miley. Billy Ray Cyrus had exploded into the public consciousness with his 1992 crossover hit single "Achy Breaky Heart" and the album Some Gave All. His star started to fade soon after, but he continued to plug away and did some acting as well. By 2001, he was headling the popular Pax television show, Doc (TV), a medical »

Miley Cyrus isn't the only chart-topper in Hannah Montana, as her co-star Emily Osment has also achieved that status for her music. The 17-year-old singer has just released her Ep, titled All the Right Wrongs, last week and already it's hitting the high notes. As of now, it's #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and gaining even more fame.
On her official website, Emily Osment posted a video of herself talking about what All the Right Wrongs means to her. She discussed which one was her favorite among those songs she wrote personally, even though all the tunes connect with her on a deeper level.
Let's skip the part about Miley Cyrus being on the sequel for Sex and the City first, and discuss how her Hannah Montana co-stars are doing. Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso busy with their music careers and little is heard about Jackson Earles and Moises Arias. However, it looks like more fame is on the horizon for Billy Ray Cyrus and Lucas Till.
You may remember the latter for his role as Miley's love interest on Hannah Montana: The Movie. As for the former, you know him as Miley's dad. Enough said. Despite an unlikely pairing, these two have teamed up to star in an upcoming movie titled The Spy Next Door.
Lo Bosworth made time for a good cause yesterday, stopping by the La Public Library for Jumpstart's Read for the Record Program. For lunch she met up with Kristin Cavallari, who traded in her bikini for jean shorts and laughed big while on the set of The Hills. These two are the only Laguna Beach alumni still left on the MTV reality show, but that doesn't mean there's no drama between them. Whether or not Kristin is reinvigorating the show like she promised, Lo could have some new projects on her horizon - Lc is eyeing her for the lead in the upcoming La Candy movie. Chicago – This critic is not ashamed to admit when a teen-driven phenomenon works, having given positive reviews to most of Zac Efron’s filmography, but Disney’s “Hannah Montana: The Movie” is too absolutely for hardcore fans only. Everyone old enough to pay for the Blu-Ray themselves are likely to be turned off.
Blu-Ray Rating: 2.5/5.0 “Hannah Montana” is more of a brand name than a character. Watching the heroine’s feature film debut is kind of like watching a 102-minute preview for a bigger phenomenon or a commercial for a line of products. It’s like watching “Ronald McDonald: The Movie,” it’s just another part of the machine that is one of the most popular teen characters in the history of the Disney monopoly on kid’s entertainment.
Hannah Montan: The Movie was released on DVD and Blu-Ray on August 18th, 2009.
