Little has happened at Seattle Grace since Grey's Anatomy's fall finale last month. That apparently includes Teddy (Kim Raver) still being in the dark that her husband, Henry, (Scott Foley) died on the operating table despite the best efforts of Teddy's protégée Cristina (Sandra Oh).

Say it with us: Seriously?

Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "Dark Was the Night"

14 November 2011 10:56 AM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Welcome to our weekly Grey's Anatomy Round Table!

Our official Grey's Anatomy review broke down Thursday's episode, "Dark Was the Night." Now, TV Fanatic staff writers Courtney Morrison, Sean McKenna and Christina Tran have gathered for a Round Table Q&A.

Come along as we further debate, discuss and dissect the goings on at Seattle Grace:

1. What was your favorite scene/quote from the episode?

Courtney: One name. Cristina Yang. Hands down. Sandra Oh has proven a thousand times that she is one of most talented actors on this show. Her silent reaction to the news that her dead patient was her mentor’s husband was amazing. Raw and actual emotion. Loved it!

Sean: I completely agree with Courtney. I kept waiting for Cristina to find out about Henry and when she did it was a powerful scene. It was the perfect transition from calm and collected to »

Drew Hosts Baby Shower, Gives Gifts To Charity

14 November 2011 12:01 AM, PST | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Pregnant actress Sarah Drew celebrated the impending arrival of her first child with a baby shower on Saturday.

The Grey's Anatomy star invited her closest family members and female friends, including co-stars Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson, to the bash, which was held at her aunt's home in Los Angeles - and there were a few surprise guests at the party.

She tells, "I felt so incredibly loved. I was surrounded by all of my favourite women and was just so cared for all day. I felt so grateful to have such an amazing community of friends and family. It was so special to have my mom fly out from N.Y.C. for the shower, and I had the wonderful surprise of my aunt and cousins flying in from San Francisco as well."

During the bash, Drew sang Forever Young by Bob Dylan - a song she has a personal connection to.

She explains, "I heard a version of it on (TV show) Sons of Anarchy right at the beginning of my pregnancy. I fell in love with it and couldn’t stop crying every time I listened to it. There are so many blessings in the lyrics of the song, and I just wanted to bless my baby with those words."

Drew, who is due to give birth in January, has decided against finding out the sex of her first child with husband Peter Lanfer. She adds, "There are so few surprises in life that are really worth looking forward to, and we decided this is one of them. We were excited to be surprised."

The actress is donating gifts received during the shower to the Baby2Baby organisation, which helps less privileged mums-to-be. »

Something actually happened on the latest episode of Grey's Anatomy! Not just one thing, but three huge things took place at Seattle Grace Mercy West and its surrounding areas, which means it must be November sweeps! 1. Zola is gone! Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) are informed by mean social worker Janet that Zola will be placed with another family. Both of them, as well as Alex (Justin Chambers), blame themselves. 2. Henry dies! After spitting up blood last week, Henry (Scott Foley) needs surgery. Teddy (Kim Raver) wants Cristina (Sandra Oh) to operate on her husband, but she doesn't want Cristina to know it's Henry undergoing the procedure. Grey's Anatomy Review: Time For Goodbyes...

10 November 2011 7:59 PM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Wow. ABC promised an astounding episode and, boy, did it deliver. The midseason finale of Grey's Anatomy offered up some serious cliffhangers, including the careers of two doctor in question, and a truly sad death.

So let’s waste no more time. Go ahead and put down your tissues. Let’s discuss "Dark Was the Night."

Bye Bye Zola. A few minutes into the hour and news broke that Grey’s favorite couple would not be getting its baby back. Social Services delivered the news that Der and Mer will be baby-less once again. And to think, this wasn’t even the saddest news of the episode. Many of us viewers have differences of opinions on the Zola situation.

Of course, we all want them to have a family, but I have to admit, I’m not truly disappointed that Zola will not be returning. This series is about adults. »

Grey's Anatomy Redux: Get Ready for a Shipper Riot! The "Soul Mates" Have Been Revealed

And which very important patient comes to Seattle Grace with a nostalgia-filled trip down memory lane that brings on all the tears? Grey's Anatomy Review: Batter Up!

27 October 2011 8:38 PM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

The latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy was anything but a strike out. It was a nice, light hour - following a few heavy episodes - and moved things forward for our favorite docs. So grab your glove and get ready to discuss "Put Me In, Coach."

You’re My Person. Meredith and Cristina stole the scenes with their Bff fun and I loved every second of it. From the start of them laying in the outfield to them getting drunk in the middle of the game, these two were the picture of what a best friends should be. Plus, we really haven’t seen them that wasted together since the parties that used to go down at the Grey house. Classic Meredith and Cristina.

Kudos to Sandra Oh once again. She can bring the serious, the drama, the tension. But she can definitely show up the rest with her insane smile and laugh. »

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Derek Is Ruining Meredith’s Career!

21 October 2011 7:06 AM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Seriously! Even though they were happy in this episode, how long can it really last? He knows she's the best at neuro and yet she's stuck delivering babies! Oh, Grey's Anatomy -- what is happening with your heroine? Destined to become a great surgeon, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is now slumming it on the "vagina squad!" Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith seem to be happier, and for that I'm glad. But it doesn't go unnoticed that he longs for her in the operating room. "I never knew how good I had it until Meredith was off my service," he told Owen (Kevin McKidd). And she's the one who found him the "inoperable" tumor, that of course he was able to operate on, ultimately saving the young life. Derek, let Meredith back in. The other surgeons obviously won't. (Consider Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) reaction to Meredith interfering with her mouse trial.) And she »

Grey's Anatomy Redux: Seattle Grace Heats Up With Dirty Docs

20 October 2011 8:45 PM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

They weren't kidding with the "hot, dirty sex" were they? "Big risks yield big rewards" was the moral of this week's episode. As was, "knock before walking into any conference room or risk getting an eyeful." Clinical trials, inoperable tumors, sexual frustration were front and center, but which doctors found their voice and their power? The answer may surprise you: What We Learned Scrubbing and Sexting:  There were two camps in this week's Grey's Anatomy: the doctors that were having hot monkey sex all over the hospital and those who were not. Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) fall into the former category while basically everyone else was in the »

"Hot, Dirty Sex" Alert! We Go Behind the Scenes for Tonight's Grey's Anatomy

"Not just sex. Hot, dirty, stand-on-my-head sex." This is what Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) is hoping for with her on-screen squeeze Owen (Kevin McKidd) in tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy. We were on set for the filming, and can tell you the episode does not disappoint. Perhaps because Kevin McKidd is so good at contorting himself into at least two very different positions… Actor and director! What, did you think we were talking about some other kind of "positions," you perv?! (Well, there'll be plenty of that too, as Cristina and Owen embark on a sexathon that lands them in a few inappropriate settings, including a conference room, much to the chief's »

Nyff 2011 Review: Alexander Payne’s The Descendants

18 October 2011 11:51 PM, PDT | Obsessed with Film | See recent Obsessed with Film news »

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Alexander Payne‘s return to the silver screen has been long-awaited, considering the director’s last feature was 2004′s Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar winner Sideways. The Descendants, his newest film, falls in line with the helmer’s oeuvre – Matt King (George Clooney), a Hawaiian hapa-haole (or “half-white,” thank you press release), a lawyer and a descendant of royalty, navigates unfamiliar waters when his wife is incapacitated in a boating accident. The absentee dad is immediately saddled with care of his two daughters, 10-year-old Scottie (Amara Miller) and 17-year-old Alex (Shailene Woodley) – two young ladies who neither have much patience nor respect for their father. When Clooney receives some significantly devastating news from Alex, he embarks on a journey to find Brian (Matthew Lillard), with Scottie, Alex, and her friend/emotional support Sid (Nick Krause) in tow.

It’s a struggle to pen this review without any evident spoilers, »

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: I Wish Mark Had Hooked Up With Jackson’s Mom After The Penis Transplant!

14 October 2011 7:30 AM, PDT | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Dr. Catherine Avery showed up at Seattle Grace to perform the very interesting surgery and I thought for sure she and Mark made a connection! Grey's Anatomy reached a new high (or low) with their big patient case this week -- a man who had his penis removed due to cancer and needed a new one. But at least there was only one instance of Derek (Patrick Dempsey) sucking. Lucky for us, No Penis Guy brought us Jackson's (Jesse Williams) mom, the world-renowned Dr. Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen), who wanted to perform the revolutionary penis transplant. Of course, she butted heads with Mark (Eric Dane), which was awesome. McSteamy argued that they should go for the more traditional route of reconstruction, but a few funny penis-quips from Jackson's mom put him in his place. Jackson, himself, was annoyed with his mom's presence -- enough so that he sent girlfriend Lexie »

Will Bailey and Ben Couple Up on Grey's Anatomy?

11 October 2011 12:09 PM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Is there any chance that Ben - who was brought back into the fold on last week's Grey's Anatomy (the upside of Off the Map being canceled) - will get back together with Bailey on Grey's Anatomy?

"There's no telling with Bailey," Chandra Wilson tells E!, then hints at where Bailey's mindset is now:

"But here they all are in the same workplace. How many can you juggle? Let's just put it that way."

As for what's next for another couple - specifically, why Cristina Yang is cooking in the promo for "Love, Loss and Legacy" - it hasn't been good for Owen and Cristina so far. But brighter days lie ahead.

Sandra Oh revealed that there was a "romantic storyline" involving Owen (Kevin McKidd) in an episode she recently shot, and in it, Cristina looks "as feminine as we've seen her in a long time."

Make of that what you will, »

Grey's Anatomy's Shonda Rhimes: The Love Between Cristina and Owen Is Still There

28 September 2011 8:23 PM, PDT | TVGuide - Breaking News | See recent TVGuide - Breaking News news »

If ever there were a game-changer in a relationship, it would be Cristina's decision to abort her and Owen's child in the Grey's Anatomy season premiere.

What's in store for Meredith and Derek now that they've lost baby Zola?

From the beginning of the ABC medical drama, Cristina (Sandra Oh) has been dead-set against having children. She was pregnant with Dr. Burke's baby in Season 1, and was planning to have an abortion, but it resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. This time around, Cristina gave husband Owen (Kevin McKidd) no say in the decision, which will certainly cause a divide between them this season.

Still, executive producer Shonda Rhimes promises, "The love is...

'Grey's Anatomy': Cristina goes through with her abortion

"Grey's Anatomy" did one of the rarest things on network television in its season premiere: It showed a character terminating her pregnancy.

The two-hour premiere ended with Cristina (Sandra Oh) going through with an abortion after finally having the conversation about it that she and Owen (Kevin McKidd) had been avoiding since last season's finale. Owen dropped his steadfast position against the abortion after getting an earful from Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) on what being an unwanted child has done to her:

"Do you know what it's like to be raised by someone who didn't want you? I do," she tells Owen. "... I was raised by a Cristina. My mother was a Cristina, and as the child she didn't want, I'm telling you: Don't do this to her because she's kind and she cares and she won't make it. The guilt of resenting her own kid will eat her alive."

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Meredith And Derek Could Lose Baby Zola Forever!

The season premiere of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ was a whirlwind of emotions as we saw the fallout from Meredith’s trial tampering, Chief Webber stepping in to save the day, and Cristina deciding what to do about her pregnancy.

Is anybody else an emotional basketcase after this two hour season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy or is it just me? Can I get a ‘seriously’ up in here? First of all, Derek you are a Jerk! And secondly, Chief Webber I absolutely Love you. And thirdly, Cristina I want to give you the biggest hug in the world. Ah!
