The spotlight may have been on gowns and trophies, but Sarah Paulson opened up about a cause close to her heart at the recent Golden Globe awards.

The American Horror Story star chatted to Et’s Carly Steel about her determination to help kids around the globe get the best education they can by having the one thing most young people take for granted -- a desk!

“The K.I.N.D Fund is [for] kids in need of desks for Children in Malawi,” the Golden Globe winner explained. “It raises money. Lawrence O'Donnell started this charity several years ago and it's an incredible charity that creates opportunities for children to actually have places to learn and desks to sit at instead of on the floor.”
