This film was the very first one that I wrote any kind review for on an online platform. That was the first brave step in my cause for championing this film. Albeit, it was a small step, because maybe two people probably stumbled across it. Either way, I did it and I’m not ashamed. Matter of fact, I’m taking it to the big show by including it here. All of my feelings for this bastard child of the series just happened to resurface »

Warner Bros. Plans 'Scooby-Doo' Movie Reboot

17 June 2014 1:39 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Warner Bros. is in the early stages of crafting a Scooby Doo reboot for the big screen, with the studio hiring Randall Green to write the screenplay.

It isn't known if it will be a live-action version like 2002's Scooby Doo and the 2004 sequel Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, or if it will be an animated feature like the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! TV series.

Raja Gosnell directed both Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, which starred Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy, Linda Cardellini as Thelma and Neil Fanning as the voice of Scooby Doo. The original Scooby Doo made $275 million worldwide from an $84 million production budget in 2002, although the 2004 sequel Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed didn't fare quite as well, pulling in $181.4 million worldwide.

Sony is planning a similar reboot with its franchise The Smurfs. After two »

There’s Only One Way We Might Be Interested in the ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ Sequel

No, I’m not thinking Doubtfire vs. Madea. Technically that would involve a man fighting a woman, as Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire is Robin Williams playing a male character who dresses as an old lady while Mabel “Madea” Simmons is just Tyler Perry playing an old lady. It doesn’t sound like a fair battle. Obviously Madea would kick the fake nanny’s ass. But the synopsis I have in mind is similar for this Mrs. Doubtfire sequel that Fox 2000 has just announced with original director Chris Columbus and Williams both on board. It has to be an Expendables type movie, which means it’s not just Doubtfire 2 but an ensemble piece in which Williams as Daniel Hillard as Doubtfire is joined by Dustin Hoffman as Michael Dorsey as Tootsie, Martin Lawrence as Malcolm Turner as “Big Momma,” David Cross as Tobias Funke as Mrs. Featherbottom, Miguel A. Nunez Jr. as Jamal Jeffries as Juwanna Mann, Harland Williams »

Now this is more like it! One of Full Moon’s lesser-known movies, Shadowzone originally debuted in 1990, just after Puppet Master exploded on to the scene. It is also the second of three Full Moon Productions (the company name was later changed to Full Moon Entertainment) that were lensed between 1989 and 1991 – the others being Puppet Master and Meridian, both of which have already had the DVD, and in Puppet Master‘s case, Blu-ray, treatment from 88 Films.

Shadowzone sees a group of Nasa hyper-sleep researchers conducting tests in an abandoned underground facility in the Nevada desert. When one subject dies during the test, Nasa sends in Captain Hickock (Beecroft) to investigate. and what he finds is more horrific than the death itself. The scientists, »
