Arrow Season 2 Finale 'Unthinkable' Review: "When You Need Me, I'll be There"

16 May 2014 12:54 AM, PDT | TheHDRoom | See recent TheHDRoom news »

It could have been worse. And I think I needed it to be worse. As Arrow wrapped up its second season, the pieces were in place for widespread tragedy to hit Oliver Queen, and when the dust finally settled, not much changed. The episode was very well done, and the action was intense and well choreographed. I wanted more change, and even a death or two. My feelings aside, this was a great ending and it set up some very interesting dynamics next season, including a fresh side story (no more island -- at least for a while?) and with The Flash heading to the network, two-parters and cross promotion can -- and should -- run rampant. 1. What is it?

The Arrow Season Two finale, titled 'Unthinkable.'

For now, here are the 6 Qs of this week's 'Arrow.'

1. What is it?

Arrow Season 2, Episode #222, titled 'Streets of Fire.'

2. Who's in it?

Stephen Amell stars as Oliver Queen/Arrow; Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance; David Ramsey as John Diggle; Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak; Colton Haynes as Roy Harper; Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson; Willa Holland as Thea Queen. Arrow Recap: “Birds of Prey”

26 March 2014 7:04 PM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

Now that you've seen tonight's episode of Arrow, titled "Birds of Prey", you can check out series star Caity Lotz's recent interview without too much fear of spoilers.  She wasn't lying when she talked up the crazy amount of action, stunts, and fight sequences in this hour.  While this episode certainly satisfied adrenaline seekers, there was plenty of drama to be found as well.  Hit the jump for my recap and review, and for a reminder of why you shouldn't take rides from strangers. Island Time took a bit of a backseat in this episode, which was front-loaded with plenty of fights between the ever-growing number of masked vigilantes.  While on the Amazo, Oliver spent his island screentime hanging from chains and getting tortured.  When it becomes apparent that the ship's engines are busted, Slade offers to trade Oliver for Hendrick (Artine Brown), who survived the battle along with »
