- Between 1947 and 1954, she sang the leading soprano roles in four of conductor Arturo Toscanini's concert performances of complete operas broadcast live on NBC Radio. All were released on LP and later on CD. One of them, Verdi's "Aida", was the only complete Toscanini-conducted opera ever simulcast on television and radio. Her appearances in Toscanini-conducted operas also marked the last time that Toscanini conducted these works in his extremely long career.
- She sang the soprano part in Toscanini's 1951 live broadcast of Verdi's "Requiem", his last performance of the work.
