Jim Neidhart was born on February 8, 1955 in Tampa, Florida, USA as James Henry Neidhart. He is an actor, known for Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows (1998), Thunder in Paradise (1993) and Zombie Beach Party (2003). He has been married to Ellie Hart since 1979. They have three children. He was previously married to Joy Small.

He got the name "Anvil" when he won an Anvil Tossing contest at the Calgary Stampede festival. Stu Hart paid him $500 to do it.

Was a member of the New Hart Foundation, a faction that was led by his brother-in-law Bret Hart, and included his late brothers-in-law Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith, as well as the late Brian Pillman, a Hart family friend. Ironically, Neidhart and Bret, who tagged together as the Hart Foundation in the early 90s, are currently the only surviving members of the faction.
