Butler's translation of Anton Chekhov's play, "The Cherry Orchard," at the Cripplegate Theatre in England with the Ministry of Labour Dramatic Society players including Rita Gallally, Harold Dwyer, Clarice Collins, Winifred Maher, David Brain and Patrick Moriarty in the cast. Blake Greenwood was director.
