Sneak Peek to 'One Tree Hill' Season 7

1 July 2009 11:30 PM, PDT | From Aceshowbiz | See recent Aceshowbiz news

The CW has given the first look into "One Tree Hill" season 7 through a promo for its new time schedule. In midseason, the drama occupied the Monday 9/8c slot with the lead in from "Gossip Girl". But this Fall, "Hill" will be the Monday starter at 8/7c.

The promo did not only give information on the new time, but also what kind of story will be brought up. With the official departures of Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, the drama is focusing the spotlight to Brooke and Julian. In the promo, Brooke is heard uttering the "I love you". A recent scoop from E! Online suggested that Brooke and Julian indeed will "last" on the series, while Lucas and Peyton are goners.

In replacement for the loss of two major characters, the execs have hired a bunch of new bloods as fillers. Robert Buckley of "Lipstick Jungle" fame will

Fans were outraged when Chad Michael Murray announced he wouldn’t be returning to One Tree Hill next season. But luckily, the CW has ordered up another hottie to take his place. Robert Buckley, whom you may know from the cancelled Lipstick Jungle, has officially joined the cast. It’s perfect timing, since his show just got the boot! 6 June 2009 2:07 AM, PDT | From OnTheFlix | See recent OnTheFlix news

Ok, so there were reports going around that Brian Austin Green the former star of the original "Beverly Hills 90210" series was currently in talks to join the cast of "One Tree Hill" as a sports agent and friend to Nathan Scott. Well, since then, I've heard from the people over at zap2it.com that a source who works close with production of the show, has stated that Brian was offered $75,000 an episode which was the same amount that Chad Michael Murray was making. However, Brian decided that "One Tree Hill" wasn't for him,and turned down the part.

He would also be a wealthy single guy on the show. This news comes on the heels of two major cast members, Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton leaving the show do to conflicts with contract negotiations.

Brian Austin Green Coming to 'One Tree Hill' as Sports Agent

1 June 2009 11:21 PM, PDT | From Aceshowbiz | See recent Aceshowbiz news

There is a chance that Brian Austin Green will be climbing to "One Tree Hill" as a regular in the seventh season. He is slated to take the role of Clayton, a "young and brash" sports agent who represents Nathan's basketball interest.

The casting news is not yet formally announced by The CW or the execs but sources are telling EW that "they're ironing out a few issues, but it's pretty much a done deal." This has been considered as a move which is apt to compensate the lost of two lovable actors in the series, Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton.

More about Clayton, the character is in his 20s, and is described in the casting call as "fiercely protective" of Nathan. However, Clayton will not be the only newbie in the series for the show was also casting Haley's older sister named Quinn and a model for Brooke's clothing line,

Lucas and Peyton No Longer on ‘One Tree Hill’

30 May 2009 4:25 PM, PDT | From OnTheFlix | See recent OnTheFlix news

This news has been out for a couple of weeks, but I figured some people still might not know. Heck I just found out about it,today. Chad Michael Murray who plays the role of Lucas Scott and Hilarie Burton who plays Peyton Sawyer on CW's hit show, "One Tree Hill" are exiting the show for good. That's right. They will not be back for the show's upcoming 7th season. Apparently, according to my sources, they had been involved in ongoing contract negotiations with the network for several months, and unfortunately could never come to an agreement. So the network's season finale was their last appearance.

By Kathleen Newman-Bremang

If you haven’t watched the season finale of “One Tree Hill” yet, stop reading this now. Seriously. The following post is packed with spoilers. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Umm … that’s it? That was the big Peyton/Lucas send-off? No deaths, no heartbreak and (gasp) no car crashes. What!?

Today’s Weekly TV Wrap Up will have a little One Tree Hill (Something a bit new, but a reader asked about the show.), some more on Dollhouse after the finale and Lie To Me news. We also touch on David E. Kelley’s disappointment, the dumping of a few shows by NBC and how Fox seems to be treating Ronald D. Moore’s Virtuality just like Dollhouse, but worse - If you can imagine that. I also have some David Tennant news for you.

Despite the season finales, it’s a bit of a quiet week for me.  Of course, I have the TV ratings from last week and a bit of a surprise at the end of the post, if you make it that far.

Shall we get on with it?
