Did You Know?
[speaking about shooting Sitting Bull
(1954) in Mexico] J. Carrol Naish
was a hoot! He didn't want to be there, and they wouldn't let him go home. He played Sitting Bull, and one day he was riding his horse and the horse was barely trotting, just walking along, and J. told them he fell off his horse and had to go home, and so they sent him home! He got his way after all.
Look-a-likes of Murphy and Marlon Brando
as their characters in The Wild One
(1953) were used in the mid-'90s to advertise motorcycles. Oddly enough, the motorcycles advertised were Yamahas, and most of the motorcycles in the film were Triumphs and Harley-Davidsons.
