Leader of 'The Harmonicats', an all-harmonica trio, active from the mid-1940's to the late 60's. One of their numbers, "Peg O' My Heart" reached No. 1 in the charts in 1947. They recorded mostly for Columbia and Mercury. Murad also authored several harmonica instruction books.
