- Life is trial & error.
- Takes courage to get over the "suck."
- The harder I work, the luckier I get!
- In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take.
- Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
- Do the universe a favor: Don't hide your magic!
- Brain power, baby! (You think I'd make it on just my looks alone!?).
- Some workout is better than no workout.
- Life begins when you get outside of your comfort zone. So push yourself to get out of your comfort zone! You'll see why and thank me later!
- Little by little leads to a lot.
- We're not born just to pay bills and die.
- Your journey in life is NOT set in stone: You CAN change direction!
- Some days I wish I could go BACK in my life, NOT to change anything, but to FEEL a few things TWICE.
- Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.
- Only YOU can set yourself free.
- Life will go faster than you know. It will be tempting to live a life that impresses others - but THIS is the wrong path. The right path is to know that life is short, everyday is a gift, and you have certain gifts.
- When you find that spark, keep on playing with fire and let it warm your heart.
- It is never too late to be what you might have been.
- I've ALREADY hit rock bottom (losing both parents four months apart on two coasts; lost a LOT of money in the real estate collapse/Great Recession, December 2007-June 2009), so I can only go UP from here!
- FOMO (fear of missing out) is real.
- It is what it is.
- Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.
- Life is more fun being a contrarian!
- Act boldly with minimal preparation.
- Leave the audience wanting more.

- Small wins get your life in motion.
- Pleasure before business.
- Just have fun taking lots of little steps, and enjoy the surprise of being led to unexpected places.
- Jack of all trades, master of SOME.
- Focus on what you want instead of what you don't want.
- We are all operating on the delicate lie that we have plenty of time (read it again!).
- If you get up early you can OWN Los Angeles!
- Get blood tests at LEAST once every six months - they reveal a LOT about your health!
- Take it one step at a time.
- I feel like a billionaire inside, several times over, from my life experiences. Problem is, I don't have the bank account show it!

- The country is divided by those under 30 - and those over 30.
- When it come to my acting technique, it's ALL about the FEELS vis a vis just reciting the lines.
- Look at the source when some criticizes you. Usually the criticizer is projecting onto YOU what they themselves are struggling with. The key is just to take is what you think is useful (in the criticism), and wait 24 hours before you respond (so you don't have an emotional knee-jerk reaction you'll later regret!).
- Just because you're attractive (in great shape, eat well, have a six-pack, a tan) doesn't mean you have acting and comedy chops! Also doesn't mean you don't!
But - how many Brad Pitt's, Tom Cruise's or Sandra Bullock's are there!? - Bad directing can make a good actor look bad. Conversely, good directing can make a bad actor look good.
- The film industry are supremely amazing magicians: Love how they create magic!
- Dodged a bullet!
- Takes me a few days - after a shoot -to shake off a character. I'll never forget going to a still shoot and one of the MUA's says, "You look like an agent." I took it as a HUGE compliment! I replied, "As a matter of fact, I just played a high-powered Hollywood agent in a short film a few days ago!" (And then I joked with the MUA doing my makeup: "I discovered Demi Lavato when she was young.").
- Money ain't everything, but it SURE buys a lot of freedom!
- My dreams are SO real, I thank God when I wake up!
