Lawrence Morton (1904–1987)

Lawrence Morton was born Lawrence Goldberg in Duluth, Minnesota in 1904 and died in Santa Monica in 1987. He was a mainstay of Southern California's musical life, being director of the Monday evening concerts and the Ojai Music Festival.
