Bryan Cranston On The End Of 'Breaking Bad'

8 hours ago | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »

"Breaking Bad" Season 5 marks the end of AMC's critically acclaimed drama, and as we draw closer to the debut of the final eight episodes, star Bryan Cranston took to Reddit to host an Ama and answer fans' burning questions about the end of the series.

Read on to find out what we learned about "Breaking Bad" Season 5 and Cranston's experiences filming the show, direct from the man himself.

Walt's descent into villainy has been a slow but seemingly inevitable process, and Cranston pinpointed the moment when he thinks Walt officially "broke bad" fairly early on: "My feeling is that Walt broke bad in the very first episode. It was very subtle but he did because that's when he decided to become someone that he's not in order to gain financially. He made the Faustian deal at that point and everything else was a slippery slope."

Cranston admitted that the role »

Rating: 5.0/5.0

Is there a more exciting TV event of Summer 2013 than the final eight episodes of “Breaking Bad”? The answer is no. There is not. 'Breaking Bad': Creator Vince Gilligan spills on the final eight episodes

When Breaking Bad left off last summer, tenacious DEA agent Hank Schrader (Dean Norris) was hot on the trail — and, er, toilet — of meth maker Walter White (Bryan Cranston). And when the revered drama returns with the second half of season 5 (beginning Aug. 11 on AMC), what should we brace for? Among other things, maybe a bit of self-reflection from the cancer-stricken chemistry teacher who transformed himself into a lethal drug kingpin with the help of high school dropout/partner Jesse (Aaron Paul).

As "Under the Dome" approaches its premiere (June 24, 10 p.m. Et), CBS has released a new preview featuring creator Stephen King as he discusses the process of adapting the series for the screen, with cast members such as Dean Norris, Mike Vogel and Rachelle Lefevre describing the impact the author has had on the show and on them personally.

King promises that "Under the Dome" will feature visuals that will make viewers' eyes "bug out of their heads," insisting that, "we're going to try to make this a character-driven show, but nobody's shying away from the big effects."

According to King, "Dome" is intended to be a "family fright," with endless potential for stories. "When people come, I would like them to be fascinated by the situation. The Following’s Natalie Zea Will Make a Sudden Appearance Under the Dome

11 June 2013 4:44 PM, PDT | Boomtron | See recent Boomtron news »

It seems Natalie Zea was feeling a little restless what with The Following, where she plays Claire Matthews, on hiatus in between its first and second seasons. Instead of enjoying a vacation from this years more bizarre hits, she decided she wanted to go out and snag a second job. Oh, I’m sorry, make that a third job. She still managed to recur on Justified while working full time on The Following. She must really love working. Now she’s going to be recurring on CBS’s upcoming summer series, Under the Dome, in a role that is quite different compared to those she’s played the last couple of years.

While Zea has always been great at playing tough and sexy characters, she’s always managed to be the strong woman behind a stronger man. The Following had paired her up with Kevin Bacon’s Ryan Hardy and »

Fans of The Following may need to wait until next season to learn the fate of Claire Matthews, but we can now confirm the future of her portrayer:

Natalie Zea is headed to CBS.

The busy actress - who still plays a role on Justified as well - has been cast in a "continuing" role on Under the Dome, as teased by executive producer Neal Baer to William Keck of TV Guide Magazine.

Look for Zea to make "an alarming appearance in a few episodes beginning in Episode 9," Baer said. "She plays Maxine, and if you think [the show's big baddie] Jim Rennie (Dean Norris) is trouble, you haven't seen trouble yet. And she'll be connected to a number of our characters."

Per TV Guide, Zea has been cast for a continuing role in "Under the Dome," beginning in Episode 9.

Nic Cage And John Cusack Play It By The Books In The Frozen Ground Trailer

10 June 2013 9:02 AM, PDT | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Well, that John Cusack/Nicolas Cage/Vanessa Hudgens true events movie you were all waiting for now has a trailer via Yahoo! Movies, which Hudgens herself introduces. It would have been more effective if Cage had introduced it while yelling over a snowblower, but you take what you get. For a movie based on a real-life serial killer, The Frozen Ground.s trailer is amazingly bland and as colorless as the attractive snowy Alaskan backgrounds. Hudgens seems to be channeling her inner Brittany Murphy here, playing Cindy Paulson, a girl who escaped the clutches of killer Robert Hansen (Cusack), who murdered between 17 and 21 women between 1980 and 1983. Cage plays an Alaskan State Trooper who teams up with Cindy to track Hansen down to bring him to justice. The film also stars Radha Mitchell, Katherine Lanasa and Dean Norris, so the film probably can.t be below average, but it doesn.t »

New Trailer for The Frozen Ground with Nicolas Cage, John Cusack & Vanessa Hudgens

10 June 2013 9:00 AM, PDT | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

So often cast in the role of the good guy, it’s always nice to see John Cusack take a turn on the dark side, and The Frozen Ground will give us an opportunity to do that, playing a serial killer in the thriller.

Based on real events, the film sees Cusack starring opposite Nicolas Cage and Vanessa Hudgens, and that leading trio has me more than intrigued. We saw the first trailer surface last summer, with its release originally slated for last autumn.

And with its new release date fast approaching this summer, Lionsgate have released a new trailer over on Yahoo Movies, introduced by Hudgens herself.

Alaskan State Trooper Jack Halcombe sets out to end the murderous rampage of Robert Hansen, a serial killer who has gone unnoticed for 13 years. As the bodies of street girls start to pile up in Anchorage, fear strikes a chord with the public. »

Nicolas Cage is on the hunt for John Cusack in the trailer for The Frozen Ground

A trailer for The Frozen Ground starring John Cusack and Nicolas Cage debuted last August then was pulled before the majority of you probably got to see it. It was a messy trailer for a likely, at least entertaining (I hope) movie. All the elements were there a true crime drama, Cage, Cusack, Vanessa Hudgens as a stripper, and Hank Schrader Dean Norris. But the trailer didn't make it seem like even with all these things in place it was going to work. Now the first official theatrical »
