Rick comes across a mysterious woman in new image for The Walking Dead’s season 7 return

19 January 2017 12:30 PM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

While details about the second half of the seventh season of AMC’s The Walking Dead are generally being kept hush-hush, one thing is for sure: Rick and his crew are going to finally get down to business and try to end Negan and the Saviors’ reign of terror. The gang’s exact plan of how they will go about doing this is still slightly unclear, but they’ll certainly need as many allies as they can get.

A new image from Entertainment Weekly sees Rick conversing with a mysterious woman in a junkyard, who could be joining the Alexandrians in their fight; or she could be making life a whole lot more difficult for our heroes. Showrunner Scott M. Gimple kept his lips sealed on who the character is, but did reveal that viewers will get introduced to her “pretty quickly” once the show returns. Check out the picture below… »

The Walking Dead is not a show to shy away from gruesome, stomach-churning violence. Over the years viewers have laid eyes on some truly shocking moments, as Rick and the gang navigate a zombie apocalypse with one golden rule – Fight the dead. Fear the living.

Season 7’s premiere, “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be,” arguably took things to the next level, as Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s diabolical Negan lined up Andrew Lincoln and his ragtag crew of allies as though they were about to face a firing squad. The truth was much worse, as Morgan’s barbaric villain waved Lucille – a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire and his nightmarish weapon of choice – high in the air before settling on his pair of victims.

18 January 2017 4:32 PM, PST | DailyDead | See recent DailyDead news »

We saw a lot of new characters introduced in the first half of The Walking Dead Season 7, but by the looks of a new photo unveiled by EW, the second half of the season is going to bring even more people into play as Rick Grimes and the Alexandrians prepare for an all out war with Negan and The Saviors.

Below, you can check out the latest Walking Dead photo from EW, which shows Rick talking to a new character in a yet-to-be-revealed setting. Here's what showrunner Scott M. Gimple told EW about the upcoming introduction:

“I’m just going to say that Rick is going to meet this person and/or persons pretty quickly. The answers are just around the heap. I cannot wait for people to meet this character and to see this actor. There is some formidable fun coming up.”

Reminder: Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton Were on a Show Together

17 January 2017 11:30 AM, PST | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

Image Source: Getty / Michael Stewart Even if you're as obsessed with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton's romance as we are, you might be surprised by this tidbit: they were on a show together. No, Morgan didn't appear on One Tree Hill. Burton also didn't turn up on Supernatural at any point (though star Jensen Ackles did introduce the two). Rather, both stars were on the second season of Halle Berry's CBS series Extant, the sci-fi drama that ran from 2014 to 2015. Morgan played a (supersexy) bounty hunter named Jd: Image Source: CBS Burton was a recurring cast member, playing government operative Anna: Image Source: CBS They didn't really cross paths on the show, but at least they could hang out on the set. Burton also got to reunite with her Oth costar, Tyler Hilton, who was a regular on Extant. Another fun fact: both made short (but memorable) appearances on Grey's Anatomy! »

Deadpool 2: Is Pierce Brosnan In Contention For Cable Role?

17 January 2017 8:54 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Deadpool 2 is currently without an official start date, but that has in no way quelled online speculation from raging across the four corners of the Internet.

The latest nugget has emerged via Ryan Reynolds’ personal Instagram feed (via Screen Rant), after the Merc With a Mouth himself posted a photo of him, Hugh Jackman and Pierce Brosnan pulling the ol’ ‘hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil’ pose. But does this indicate that the former James Bond star is in contention for the role of Cable in the David Leitch-directed sequel?

Bearing the caption ‘Wolvie. Bond. Wade.,” it’s far too soon to tell whether Brosnan is actually in the mix for Deadpool 2, or if this photo is nothing more than a red herring. What we do know is that Fox’s anti-hero sequel is beginning to coalesce following its recent creative setbacks – original director »

Who Is Responsible For Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton's Love? Jensen Ackles, of Course

13 January 2017 1:20 PM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

When Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton first got together in 2009, did you say to yourself, "Wait, what?" or "I didn't see that one coming." If you did, you're not alone. The two, who are probably married, seemed to be running in slightly different Hollywood circles at the time. Jeffrey was known for his role on Grey's Anatomy and recently ended his engagement to Weeds star Mary Louise Parker, while Hilarie was still starring in One Tree Hill and recently divorced Ian Prange, an assistant director on the show. But their two worlds did have one common denominator: the CW. Jeffrey had previously starred in Supernatural alongside Jensen Ackles, who's then-girlfriend (now wife), Danneel Harris, was starring alongside Hilarie in Oth. So after both stars found themselves single, Jensen took it upon himself to make some moves. Just hangin with Pops. #VegasCon pic.twitter.com/Jt1Eomggzu - Jensen Ackles »

Wait, Are Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton Married?

11 January 2017 1:13 PM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Image Source: Getty / Alberto E. Rodriguez Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton have been together for quite a long time. While he'll always be Denny Duquette, Izzie Stevens's one true love in Grey's Anatomy, in our minds, in real life he's been dating the One Tree Hill actress since 2009. The couple welcomed their son, Augustus, in March 2010, and while they don't step out together in public too often, they have shared a handful of sweet red carpet moments over the years. Most recently, they looked all loved up when they attended the Golden Globe Awards in La on Jan. 8, which got us thinking: did they or did they not tie the knot? While The Walking Dead actor doesn't wear a wedding ring, Hilarie has been spotted with a gorgeous diamond sparkler on that finger for a while now (check out a photo of it from March 2016 below). The Walking Dead: First Pictures From The Second Half Of Season 7 Released

10 January 2017 12:15 PM, PST | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

The first 8 episodes of season 7 were a disappointment to many, especially the casual viewer that does not follow the books. In fact, there are few shows that could survive the arse-kicking that the main character has been receiving, especially after losing 2 fan favorite characters in the first episode of the season. I would say that dropping 4 million viewers an episode is not at all out of sorts after what we have witnessed thus far.

This will change in episode 9, as it seems the beginning of the All Out War storyline may start soon judging by the new synopsis:

"Rick's group will find out yet again that the world isn't what they thought it was. It's much bigger than anything they've seen so far, while they have a singular purpose -- to defeat Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) -- it won't come easy. New Synopsis And Images For Next Month's Return Of The Walking Dead Tease "All-Out War"

AMC (via EW) has put out a lengthy synopsis for February's midseason premiere of The Walking Dead, and despite things seemingly looking up for Rick and the gang last time we saw them, this breakdown suggests there are still trying times ahead. Fans of Robert Kirkman's source material will likely be aware that the arc which finally sets Rick and Negan on a collision course is titled "All Out War", and it looks like that's exactly what's on the agenda.
