"Home" from The X-Files explored taboo topics like incest, diving into the dark side of human evil. The controversial episode shocked viewers but received critical acclaim for its realistic horror elements. Due to its graphic nature, "Home" was banned from television for years, but can now be streamed on platforms like Hulu.
The X-Files never shied away from controversial topics. Part of the show's premise was an exploration of the fringes of science, ideas and humanity, as well as more down-to-earth issues such as government overreach. It may be unsurprising now that The X-Files dove into taboo topics like incest, but these episodes at the time proved wildly controversial. "Home," the second episode of Season 4, is perhaps the best known example.
Insufficiently described on streaming platforms as a monster-of-the-week episode with Mulder and Scully encountering a family of inbred brothers, the horrors of "Home" are hard to capture. The episode...

Final Destination 6 will expand the horror universe and offer a fresh start, going beyond adding a new rule to the series. The film will have an expansion of the world, adding a deep layer to the story. Final Destination 6 could introduce new rules and challenge the idea that Death's actions have a deeper meaning as part of a larger plan.
According to Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick, Final Destination 6 will expand the horror universe beyond what has been previously explored. Alongside James Wong and Glen Morgan, Reddick developed the screenplay for the original 2000 movie based upon the creator's spec script for an episode of The X Files. The Final Destination franchise centers on individuals escaping horrifying tragedies, only for Death to stalk them and claim the lives of the unlikely survivors through grisly, gory, and complex methods.

Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick says the sixth installment in the series comes with a change in Death’s design that expands the horror franchise’s universe.
The creator of the Final Destination franchise dishes enough details on Final Destination 6 to make fans of the film series salivate. Franchise creator Jeffrey Reddick was even careful not to reveal too much in a Collider interview with Perri Nemiroff. Reddick assures fans Death’s design still prevails in keeping with the theme of the Final Destination movies, but what sets the sixth installment apart from the others is an innovation in the mechanics characters exploit to outrun or outplay Death.

"This film doesn't just kind of add another layer," Reddick said. "Usually there's a new layer every film where it's like, 'Oh, well, this can save you or this can save you.

Conrad Riggs, the exec who oversaw the growth of Amazon’s unscripted programming, has left the company. He’s the latest high-level exec to depart Amazon Studios in recent days as the behemoth looks to reorganize its streaming service.
Riggs’ departure comes a day after Joe Lewis, who was head of half hour and drama series development, left the company. Earlier this month, head of international productions Morgan Wandell exited to join Apple in a new gig. Following Lewis’ departure, Sharon Tal Yguado, who joined Amazon in January as head of event series, was given oversight over all of Amazon’s scripted programming.
The reshuffle comes as Amazon Studios undergoes a massive overhaul following the departure of head Roy Price, who was the architect of Amazon Prime’s programming strategy. Price was put on indefinite leave, and then left the company, earlier this month following allegations that he sexually harassed a producer in 2015. Since then,...
