She was an actress, known for La dame de pique (1937), Les Misérables (1934) and Dans une île perdue (1931). She was married to Jean Daragon and Marcel Schwob. She died on July 14, 1948 in Touzac, Lot, France.

The French writer Marcel Schwob, who was madly in love for her, wrote: "I am at complete disposal of Marguérite Moréno, who is allowed to do of me everything she wants, also kill me. Paris, September 23, 1895". Then they got married but she was a very unfaithful wife and he died a few years later.
The French writer Marcel Schwob, who was madly in love with her, wrote in 1895: "I am at Marguerite Moréno's complete disposal. She is allowed to do everything she wants with me and that includes killing me". They got married but it was not a happy marriage. Schwob died in 1905.
Moreno was her Spanish-born mother's maiden name.
