Yolande Moreau was born on February 27, 1953 in Brussels, Belgium. She is an actress and director, known for Amélie (2001), Séraphine (2008) and Mic Macs à Tire-Larigot (2009).

Trivia (4)

Wrote and performed the one-woman-show "A Dirty Business of Sex and Crime" that toured all over France, Switzerland, Quebec etc. (1982).
Worked as educator and in a children's theater in Brussels.
As of 2016, she's the only Belgian winner of the Best Actress César award.
Is one of 5 Belgian actors to win a César award. The others are Natacha Régnier, Cécile De France, Déborah François and Matthias Schoenaerts.
