We first told you about Wgn America‘s first venture into original scripted TV, Salem, back in June. Production began in earnest in November, and now we have the first TV spot, featuring the voice of wonderful Seth Gabel (Fringe, Arrow) as Cotton Mather, sounding appropriately judgmental, according to my graduate studies back in the day.
The witches in the spot, however, take “historically accurate” and dump it straight into the lake. Excellent!

The population of “Salem” has grown by four. Wgn America’s first scripted series “Salem” has tapped Liz Sarnoff (“Lost,” “Alcatraz”) as a co-executive producer, along with three others as the drama begins production in Shreveport, La., the network said Friday. Clips for House, The Finder, Family Guy and American Dad added Fox has sent along several new clips we've added for your viewing pleasure. First up, from their new series The Finder, comes a preview clip for A Cinderella Story. Geoff Stults, who plays Walter Sherman on the show, opens the clip with "Walter is the kind of guy, that when he's trying to find something, or someone, or figure somebody out, he likes to walk a mile in their shoes, and in this case...he literally did, they just happened to be size twelve pumps." The series is created by Hart Hanson, who executive produces alongside Barry Josephson, Dan Sackheim and Vahan Moosekian.
