Dennie Moore was born on December 30, 1902 in New York City, New York, USA as Deena Rivka Moore. She was an actress, known for The Women (1939), Bachelor Mother (1939) and Dive Bomber (1941). She died on February 22, 1978 in New York City.

Blonde supporting actress from Broadway (appearing there from 1927-1957) who played occasional films roles, usually as humorous New York types. Will always be remembered as the chatty manicurist who spills the beans to Norma Shearer about her husband's illicit affair with Joan Crawford in the classic The Women (1939).
Her father was a cantor in a local synagogue.
She began going by the name Dennie when she began her acting career because her family did not approve of her career move based on their religious views.
A Democrat, she was a solid supporter of Franklin D. Roosevelt.
A feminist when her acting days ended, she spent her retirement speaking on behalf of women's rights and civil liberties in Jewish communities.
When she retired in 1957, she sold her Hollywood vacation home and remained in her birth-spot of New York City.
She had no survivors or immediate family when she died. Upon her death, she was promptly cremated and her ashes scattered over the balcony of her New York City apartment.
