Justice League Blu-Ray Gets a Release Date and Special Feature Details

  • Cinelinx
It's time to go "All In" as Warner Bros. has officially revealed the details on the Justice League 4K/blu-ray release, including details on the special features and when you can pick it up!

The live action Justice League film has been pretty divisive since it's release last November. Since then, irate "fans" have been petitioning/demanding a Zack Snyder cut of the film (a handful, hilariously, even protesting outside WB) that simply doesn't exist. Instead, more levelheaded movie-goers will be able to pick up the regular Blu-Ray/4K Ultra HD disc on March 13, 2018 (or one month earlier on digital).

Sure there's no magical verison of the film that fixes all the issues and turns it into the greatest movie ever made (though I, personally, enjoyed the film for what it was), but it does come with some nifty bonus features:

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and DC Entertainment’s epic action

The Flash Is Definitely Getting His Own Movie, and Here's What We Know

While Justice League was mostly a flop (due in part to Superman's weirdly CGI'd face), there was one thing that many fans and nonfans alike could agree on: Ezra Miller is simply delightful as the slightly awkward but nonetheless endearing Barry Allen aka the Flash. Whether it was good writing, Miller's supreme comic timing, or a mixture of both, it's hard to watch the film without feeling at least a little bit charmed by the character. That's why you might be pleased to know a standalone film starring the Flash is, indeed, in the works. The bad news is that it's a ways off. The goods news is we have a bunch of exciting details to satiate your hunger. 1. The Title Instead of naming the film after the hero (like Wonder Woman and Aquaman, no shade), this project is actually called Flashpoint. It's based on a comic book of

Second Official Trailer for Action Thriller 'Braven' with Jason Momoa

"Once we have the bag secure, take 'em all out." Saban + Lionsgate have debuted the official Us trailer for the survival action thriller Braven, from director Lin Oeding, starring Jason Momoa. We featured the first international trailer just last week, and get to follow that up with this trailer. The film will open in Us theaters and on VOD in early February, for those interested. Momoa plays a humble lumberback working on the Us/Canada border, who must fight back to save and protect his family when "elite" drug runners run into some problems with a shipment of heroin. The full cast includes Garrett Dillahunt, Stephen Lang, Jill Wagner, Brendan Fletcher, Sala Baker, and Zahn McClarnon. This seems like an entertaining action movie for the current January/February season when there's not many good movies out there. Enjoy. ‘Braven’ Trailer: Jason Momoa Throws an Axe at Someone’s Face

‘Braven’ Trailer: Jason Momoa Throws an Axe at Someone’s Face
Manly men Jason Momoa and Stephen Lang find themselves dealing with drug dealers on snowmobiles in Braven, a film with a clunky title and a whole lot of charm. The Braven trailer is filled with the type of glorious action-movie cheese that used to be prominent in the 1980s and 1990s, and I mean that in the best possible […]

Cyborg movie still happening, says Justice League’s Joe Morton

As Warner Bros. and DC continues to shake-up its leadership and future slate, one film that fans have been wondering about for quite some time is reportedly still in development according Justice League star Joe Morton, who played Victor Stone’s father Silas Stone. Cyborg has appeared on and off DC’s slate, first being a solo movie before the character was teased for The Flash’s solo film as a type of buddy story.

Speaking with Et, Morton said Cyborg should still be in development and spoke about what the film will be about. According to the actor, Cyborg will focus on the relationship between Victor Stone and his father Silas as well as Victor’s place in the world as not only a superhero, but a hybrid between man and machine.

“From what I understand, there will be a Cyborg movie,” Morton said. “It will be about him and I,

Ben Affleck’s Batman stunt double says Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut does exist

The existence of Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League has been confirmed by Ben Affleck’s Batman stunt double.

Justice League wasn’t exactly met with rapturous applause upon release, either by critics or paying customers, and this has led many in demanding to see the cut assembled by Zack Snyder before he left the film, being replaced by Joss Whedon.

There have been a number of rumours regarding the apparent Snyder cut with many wanting to see what the film could have looked like if the circumstances were different. Sadly, Snyder had to step away from finishing Justice League after his daughter’s death.

Richard Cetrone, however, may have some good news to fans wanting so dearly to see a different version of the movie. Cetrone was Affleck’s stunt double on both Batman v Superman and Justice League and has revealed to DC Films Universe that the

Rumour: Justice League home-entertainment release to feature an extended cut?

Despite the best efforts of fans, it seems that a Zack Snyder Director’s Cut of Justice League is out of the question (for the time being, at least), but it seems we may be getting an extended version of the DC superhero ensemble when it hits home video.

A pre-order listing on Amazon Germany has included a running time of 135 minutes – 15 minutes longer than November’s theatrical edition. Now of course, this could well be a mistake on Amazon’s part, particularly as the UK listing states 120 minutes.

However, it should be noted that Warner Bros. did produce extended cuts of both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad for their home-entertainment releases, and one would have to assume there’s more than enough Justice League footage on the cutting room floor to add a further 15 minutes.

Reports have suggested that Justice League will hit Blu-ray and DVD in March,

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot thanks Zack Snyder for saving her career

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot has enjoyed a meteoric rise these past couple of years following her casting as the Amazon Princess in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Having only appeared in minor roles in the likes of the Fast & Furious franchise, Date Night and Knight and Day prior to her casting as Diana Prince, Gadot has since become the highest-grossing actress in Hollywood this year thanks to her roles in Wonder Woman and Justice League. She’s also been honoured with the Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs Festival, and during her acceptance speech she has credited director Zack Snyder for saving her career.

“Four years ago, I got tired of all the ‘no’s and the rejections that I just wanted to quit acting,” said Gadot. “But of course the universe works in mysterious and wonderful ways and I received a phone call that

Jason Momoa as a Lumberjack in Trailer for Action Thriller 'Braven'

"They pushed him to the edge." Saban Films has launched the first official, international trailer for an action thriller film titled Braven, which we haven't heard much about before now but it looks badass. Starring Jason Momoa as a humble lumberback working on the Us/Canada border, he must fight back to save and protect his family when "elite" drug runners run into some problems with a shipment of heroin. The full cast includes Garrett Dillahunt, Stephen Lang, Jill Wagner, Brendan Fletcher, Sala Baker, and Zahn McClarnon. This looks like another one of these unassuming-man-is-really-a-badass films, but something about Momoa taking on this group of drug goons seems especially awesome to me. It's worth a quick look. Here's the first official trailer for Lin Oeding's Braven, direct from YouTube (via Tmb): When Joe Braven (Jason Momoa), a humble logger residing along the U.S./Canada border is confronted

New Report Suggests The Deadshot And Lobo Spinoff Movies Have Been Quietly Canned

Over the past two-to-three years, Warner Bros. has been a little guilty of stealth announcing potential spinoff movies without much foresight, which has, in some cases, resulted in those fabled projects slipping off the radar and into the murky depths of obscurity.

Gotham City Sirens, Justice League 2, and the Joker/Harley Quinn offshoot spring to mind as recent examples, but according to a new report, we can now scratch Deadshot and Lobo off the list of upcoming DC projects.

Truth be told, neither film has managed to retain a sense of momentum over the past 24 months, though many had assumed Warner Bros. would cash-in on Will Smith’s Dceu career by placing Deadshot on the fast-track. Sadly, that’s not the case, while Lobo has been languishing on the brink of development for as long as we can remember – heck, Jason Momoa was initially under the impression he was being

Justice League home-entertainment release date may have been revealed

Following rumours that Justice League is set to hit digital services on January 30th, we may now have details of when we can expect the Blu-ray and DVD release of Warner Bros.’ DC superhero blockbuster.

A listing on website of the U.S. retailer Best Buy has suggested that Justice League will arrive on Tuesday, March 13th; although yet to be confirmed by Warner Bros., the timing does seem about right, and hopefully we’ll soon get official confirmation, as well as details of the special features.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman,

New DC Films Head Appointed Over At Warner Bros.

I must admit, I haven’t personally seen Justice League yet, but the critics’ response, including our own, wasn’t particularly good. While DC Films and Warner Bros. had a particularly good year in 2017, largely due to the response to Wonder Woman, the general consensus is that the movies have a long way to go to match the warmth the Marvel Studios films consistently receive. Well, some news today comes in respect to the hierarchy at the WB with information on a new DC Films head being appointed. Jon Berg is moving on as the co-chair of DC Films, and now Warner Bros has named Walter Harada as the new head of DC Films. Geoff Johns will remain as DC’s President and Cco, and will continue to advise on the movie and television projects and will “work closely” with Harada.

New Line’s Walter Hamada will lead DC on film for Warner Bros.

Last month saw a bit of a shake-up over at Warner Bros. with the DC Extended Universe. Producer Jon Berg and DC Cco Geoff Johns, who were tapped to lead the DC film franchise after the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, were pushed aside in a restructuring in the wake of Justice League‘s disappointing box office earnings and critical reception. While Johns is remaining on board in an advisory role, WB has chosen a new head to take charge of its comic book films: New Line’s Walter Hamada will oversee production of DC films going forward.

Hamada helped WB usher in their horror hits It and The Conjuring, as well as expanding The Conjuring with sequels and spin-offs. He also has a close relationship with Conjuring director James Wan, who is also directing Aquaman for WB with Jason Momoa and Amber Heard. Hamada will be
