Ken Mok is a veteran writer, producer, and director of television and film.
Under his banner 10x10 Entertainment, Mok has created and overseen numerous television series and films. One of the first innovators of the unscripted genre - his television series Making the Band was the first unscripted show to air on network television in the spring of 2000 on ABC. He is most well known as the Creator and Executive Producer of America's Next Top Model. The show is in its 24th cycle and has aired in more than 150 territories, spawning dozens of international spin-offs.
In addition to television, Mr. Mok produced the major motion picture Invincible, a film starring Mark Wahlberg that was based on the true-life story of Philadelphia Eagles football player Vince Papale. Mok was also a Producer of the film Joy for 20th Century Fox, directed by David O. Russell and starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. Ken Mok will make his writing and directorial debut with the 2018 theatrical release of Ugly, a story based on the life of Jamaican model Stacey McKenzie.
Mok is also active in the digital space, writing and Executive Producing the YouTube Red series Lace-Up: The Ultimate Sneaker Challenge in 2017.
Mr. Mok began his career working as a creative executive at NBC, ABC, and MTV. He is the founder of 10x10 Entertainment, a production company that produces television, film and alternative media. He is also the owner of a production and post-production facility located in Los Angeles. The over 50-thousand square foot facility services productions through all phases of pre-production to post.
