- TriviaBorn in Louisiana, Patricia Mock attended McNeese State University and came to California to study at the Pasadena Playhouse College of Theater Arts. A long-time casting director, she worked in all forms of the entertainment business, beginning in television with The Twilight Zone. Some of the notable directors for whom she cast films were Sam Peckinpah, Michael Ritchie, Michael Cimino, Warren Beatty, Lee J.Thompson, and numerous others. The films include The Getaway, Smile, Fletch, The Golden Child, Semi-Tough, and Heaven Can Wait. She has also been vice-president of the Beverly Hills Theater Guild, a non-profit organization whose mission is to support theater in the Beverly Hills community and to encourage new playwrights.
