His sons' Jason Mizell Jr. (DJ Jam Master J'Son) and T.J. Mizell (DJ Dasmatic) are both professional Disc Jockeys. They perform with Run D.M.C. as disc jockeys whenever Rev Run and Dmc performs shows. Each of his sons have performed at venues around the world, and made several television appearances on various television networks.
