Resident Evil Retribution Milla Jovovich First Set Photos. The Milla Jovovich set photos from Resident Evil: Retribution (2012) are the first time Milla Jovovich has been seen in the black leather Umbrella outfit for the upcoming zombie movie. The scene being filmed was on set in downtown Toronto, Canada. Project Alice’s outfits throughout each Resident Evil film have gotten more and more ridculous and unrealistic, fitting the reality and plot structure of the films like a glove.

For those actually looking forward to Paul W S Anderson’s forthcoming instalment in the Resident Evil franchise, Milla Jovovich was kind enough to tweet a video of herself and Li Bingbing posing as Alice and Ada. Shots of a costumed Milla we posted earlier in the week can be found here.
Two other game characters are set to appear for the first time in Resident Evil: Retribution; Leon Kennedy (Johann Urb) and Barry Burton (Kevin Durand). While returning to the never-ending apocalypse are Jill (Sienna Gullory), Carlos (Oded Fehr) Luther (Boris Kodjoe), Wesker (Shawn Roberts), as well as Michelle Rodriguez and Colin Salmon from the first film, somehow.
Wentworth Miller and Ali Larter, who played siblings Chris and Claire Redfield in previous film Afterlife, will not be appearing, but their absence will presumably be explained somewhere, if we’re lucky.
An element from the fourth game, ‘Las Plagas’, will »

For the past few days the cast of the new Resident Evil: Retribution has been very busy on set. No one has been busier than the star of the franchise Milla Jovovich. Principal photography on writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson’s Resident Evil: Retribution is currently underway in Toronto, Canada. Franchise leading lady (and Anderson’s significant other) Milla Jovovich has been keeping fans up-to-date on the process by releasing short videos and clips from the film’s set.
Today we have three new videos (courtesy of Miss Jovovich) that provide a behind-the-scenes look at some of the cast and crew of the fifth Resident Evil flick – along with a handful of photos that feature Jovovich looking (what else) stylish and sexy as Alice.
Retribution was once again scripted by Anderson, who has penned every installment in this blockbuster series, but previously directed only the original 2002 Resident Evil movie and the fourth installment, Afterlife. The plot involves Alice heading out on a quest to rescue Claire (Ali Larter) and Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller) – along with K-Mart (Spencer Locke) – from the Umbrella ...

Actress Isabel Lucas talks about portraying Athena, researching the character, working with Tarsem, and more
Australian actress Isabel Lucas broke onto the American scene in 2009 with roles in the blockbuster sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and in the underrated vampire drama Daybreakers. This weekend, audiences get to see Isabel Lucas in a whole new light as Athena, the Goddess of War, in Immortals, which opens in theaters nationwide November 11. I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Isabel Lucas to discuss taking on this character, working with visionary director Tarsem Singh, and much more. Here's what she had to say below.
I have always been interested in mythology, and I enjoyed that this world of Immortals had these gods and goddesses from the myths, but with a new and original story. Did you actually dig into the mythology at all for research?
Isabel Lucas: Yeah, I did. »

I recently had the chance to talk with actress Isabel Lucas for Immortals, which hits theaters November 11. I also asked about the upcoming thriller she stars in entitled Loft, a remake of Erik Van Looy's Belgian thriller where five friends share a loft for their extramarital affairs. They begin to question one another when a woman is found dead in the apartment. Here's what Isabel Lucas had to say about Loft.
"There is one I did called Loft, and it's an American remake of a Belgian film. It's a very heady, cerebral murder mystery. It was filmed in New Orleans and in Brussels. It's the same director who did the original. I play Sarah, and, I think I'm allowed to say this, because it's a remake, but she's the girl who gets murdered (Laughs). Yeah, that one comes out, I think, early next year. It's with James Marsden, Eric Stonestreet, »

Two And A Half-men Neighbor Enters House
Actress Melanie Lynskey is about to pop in on the cast of House. Let’s hope she uses the front door of the hospital instead of climbing over the balcony as her cooky Two and Half Men character, Rose, so often did. I miss the banter between Charlie and Rose, don’t you?
The Kiwi actress, which is a cute way of saying she’s from New Zealand, broke into cinema with 1994′s controversial picture Heavenly Creatures. She was adorable in Ever After, and just as quirky as ever in films like Sweet Home Alabama and Up In the Air. I’ve also been told she’s my celebrity look alike, but I’m sure you couldn’t care less about that! On to the real news!
For the Fox medical drama, Lynskey will act in an episode scheduled for early next year. »

Melanie Lynskey will be checking into House for one episode in early ’12, but in a twist, she will not be playing the Patient of the Week.
House Spoiler Alert: November Sweeps Scoop!
Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that the Two and a Half Men actress will guest star as the wife of a convalescent. But an insider tells me that this is one of those rare instances where the plot revolves around the spouse as opposed to the patient.
Lynskey’s episode — this season’s ninth — is slated to air in January. The actress joins an impressive roster of guest »

I’m going to start by boldly/naively stating that I am not as big a fan of horror as I could be or indeed as many of you are likely to be. Yet I do have faith in the genre, I believe it to have the possibility and potential to make classic cinema, the obvious likes of Alien and The Shining are fine examples of that. As horror continues on into the 21st century there are one or two pieces of cinematic gold for every dozen appalling slasher sequels, monster mash-ups and vampire flicks.
Below is a list of 10 filmmakers, writers and actors who I guestimate could be crucial to the future of horror. So here it goes, a horror rookie looking into the possible future crystal ball of the genre with some very safe predictions (filmmakers that have already proven their craft) and a few more riskier suggestions. »

Today’s question: is it ethically acceptable to receive oral sex from a sex addict?
When is giving away your money a sign of good, charitable decency, and when is it a sign of something larger, like some sort of mental disorder? This is the question that faces Doctor House (Hugh Laurie), and team in the most recent episode.
It begins with a man named Benjamin (Wentworth Miller), who pretends to be a man in need. He goes to a charity that helps such people and leaves a million dollar check behind. The woman he was talking to in the charity follows him to find out what’s going on, only to watch as he falls flat on his face outside the office.
House gets wind of this man’s case and brings him in. Everyone, including what’s currently comprising his team (Charlene Yi and »

Just imagine the casting call for last night's episode of House: "Wanted: Cute 20-something actress to not say a word while lounging on the couch and making out with Olivia Wilde. Bring headshots and body armor to the audition. You’ll need it to beat off an army of lesbians all bludgeoning each other for a chance to win the role."
Speaking of wanting things, House wants to get the band back together. And by band he means Chase, Taub and Thirteen. Though, now that I think about it, that sounds more like an accounting group than a group of rock-star diagnosticians. The only problem is that he has no money to get the band back together – major funding cuts during his stint in the pokey. So, instead he has one new diagnostician, Dr. Chi Park (Charlyne Yi, rocking the bowl cut hard), and one volunteer diagnostician Dr. Jessica Adams (Odette Annable, »

Last night, House saw the exit of yet another female character this season when Thirteen was fired from House’s team. But that sounds much harsher than it actually was. In fact, it was sort of sweet.
After initially refusing House’s promptings to return to her post, Thirteen eventually caved and helped House on the case of software billionaire Benjamin (Wentworth Miller, Mmmm… ), whose altruism was a subject of debate among the staff — with many claiming it was a symptom of something greater than the dehydration he’d initially presented with.

Monday night (Oct. 17) marks the end of the Thirteen era on "House," as Olivia Wilde makes her final appearance on the series.
Wilde's departure is not a big surprise -- she has a burgeoning movie career, and took extended time away from the show last season -- but to hear her and Hugh Laurie tell it, leaving will be bittersweet.
"It's been an extraordinary time on the show, learning from Hugh and all the other actors and our amazing writing staff," Wilde says in the video below. "I see it as a chapter, a really important chapter, in my life."
"Olivia is a real delight to be around, and we will miss her very, very much," Laurie adds. "She's obviously headed for great things."
The case that brings Thirteen temporarily back to Princeton Plainsboro involves Benjamin (Wentworth Miller), who's suffering from both blackouts and a sudden bout of extreme generosity »
