Fox’s “Prison Break” revival is the freshman show leading the pack when it comes to early audience interest, after the broadcast networks revealed their 2016-17 season schedules at the Upfronts this week.
ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and The CW presented their new slate of original programming to advertisers beginning with NBC on Sunday, and fans quickly took to YouTube to check out the new trailers.
As of Friday morning, the “Prison Break” trailer had amassed over 6.6 million views since its debut on Monday, putting it ahead of the other 35 trailers the networks released collectively. The new chapter of the Fox original series brings back stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell for another attempt to “engineer the series’ biggest prison break ever.”

Legends Of Tomorrow’s season 1 finale delivers a time-jumping face-off with Vandal Savage, and a big tease of things to come...
This review contains spoilers
The first season of Legends Of Tomorrow has come to an end. Looking back, it’s been something of a mixed bag featuring loads of big ideas and plenty of great performances alongside lapses of logic and some major superhero ineptitude. (Remember when Rip admitted he’d screw over everyone to save his family? Or when a nuke went off in Russia and The Waverider crew just wandered off?)
The finale episode carried on in this vein, with another huge-but-not-very-well-executed sci-fi concept being lobbed at this mostly likeable band of characters. We’ve spent all season building up to a showdown in 2166, only to find out now that Savage doesn’t actually want to rule the future at all. He wants to destroy it, »
It looks like Hawkgirl's flight at the end of season 1 of Legends of Tomorrow is going to last a long time. Deadline reports that Hawgirl actress Ciara Renee has exited the series as a regular and won't return full time for season 2. Renee is the second series regular to leave Legends of Tomorrow, the first being Wentworth Miller (Aka Captain Cold) though his circumstances are very different.
Fox's Prison Break revival is already a go for next year, but could there be more in the future? On Twitter, the series' writers recently suggested another season was possible.
The original Prison Break ran for four seasons before ending in 2009. The upcoming revival will reunite the main cast members, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, and Sarah Wayne Callies, for an all-new adventure.

With the first season of The CW's "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" having wrapped, where the series will go in its second year has now become clearer with the introduction of the 'Justice Society of America' - the very first superhero team-up ever published in comic books and the pre-cursor to the 'Justice League'.
"With his final words in the finale, he planted a pretty deep flag about where we're headed in season two, which is not just introducing Hourman but introducing his teammates in the Justice Society of America. For comic book fans, everyone knows the Justice Society is really the precursor to the Justice League, »

Onetime Fox hits "24" and "Prison Break" return, the former with a new star and the latter as a limited series. Also on deck are adaptations of movies "Lethal Weapon" and "The Exorcist." And to capture the magic that "Empire" brought to Fox, the network has ordered another Lee Daniels' series in "Star."
Here are the trailers for Fox's new shows:
"24: Legacy," with Corey Hawkins as a new agent seeking to save the world from terrorists:
"A.P.B", with Justin Kirk as a tech billionaire who buys himself a police precinct:

Caity Lotz is just as upset as you are, Captain Canary shippers, that Wentworth Miller's character was killed off of Legends of Tomorrow last week just as their characters' relationship was heating up. "It's heartbreaking," she tells E! News on the red carpet of the CW's Upfront presentation Thursday morning. "I love their love story." While the attraction between Captain Cold and Black Canary wasn't initially scripted, it's something she and Miller had fun playing with throughout the first season of their DC Comics show. "It just happened kind of naturally. Wentworth and I had talked about it a little bit. He would do little things in the scene, like lean in. It's »
If it hadn't already turned into the Comic Book network, this fall The CW is fully embracing its inner geek. The broadcast network, which a few years ago was known for soapy teen dramas like "Gossip Girl," will air four hour-long shows devoted to DC Comics titles starting in September. The DC block will even air in pattern, Monday through Thursdays at 8 p.m. Et. What's more, all four shows come from uber producer Greg Berlanti, meaning there's opportunity for plenty of collaboration inside this weekday DC Berlantiverse. Already, Berlanti has struck an unusual deal with "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" star Wentworth Miller, who will be departing that show as a series regular but will now be available to swoop in and out of all five shows.
