According to Milius, he didn't get on to well with Robert Redford and Sydney Pollack on Jeremiah Johnson (1972) and he was fired. Milius claims that his substitute "...couldn't write that stuff," and the only who contributed anything was Edward Anhalt. Redford and Pollack ultimately rehired Milis after Anhalt had left the project. See more »
