Thoughts I Had While Staring at the "Table 19" Poster

11 July 2016 6:50 AM, PDT | FilmExperience | See recent FilmExperience news »

Manuel here. There is nothing funnier (I guess?) than a wedding, which explains why Table 19 is the latest comedy to tackle the hilarity of seeing two people profess their love to one another in as public a venue as one can imagine. I joke, though I have to admit this sub-genre has many great examples to justify its continued deployment: Father of the Bride, Bridesmaids, My Best Friend's Wedding, Muriel's Wedding, Four Weddings and a Funeral. Heck, even Wedding Crashers and The Wedding Singer have their charm.

Will Table 19 join that esteemed group? Let's take a look at its poster:

- Can we all agree this is a pitch perfect teaser poster? It gives you a sense of tone and setting with one simple image. I do wish we'd gotten fancier nail art though.

- "Don't Fit In. Take A Number" strikes me as a better tagline for »

Anna Kendrick stars in the first trailer for ‘Table 19’

8 July 2016 12:01 AM, PDT | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

The very first trailer for the upcoming comedy Table 19 has just landed online. The film features a pretty decent cast in Anna Kendrick, Craig Robinson, Stephen Merchant and Lisa Kudrow and will land in UK cinemas early 2017.

Ex-maid of honor Eloise (Anna Kendrick) – having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text – decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend’s wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the ‘random’ table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets (but not before sending something nice off the registry). As everyone’s secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the denizens of Table 19. Friendships – and even a little romance – can happen under the most unlikely circumstances.

New 'Wolverine: Weapon X' Set Photos Reveal Action Sequence

16 June 2016 6:46 AM, PDT | LatinoReview | See recent LatinoReview news »

Just Jared has posted photographs from the set of 20th Century Fox’s “The Wolverine 3” starring Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. The set photos in question show a bearded Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine emerging from a Chrysler Limousine which has been blasted with bullet holes. Jackman is seen driving the car seemingly trying to escape from someone or something. Last week, set photos revealed Jackman and Patrick Stewart acting out scenes with an unknown actress in her pre-teens. The girl is believed to be the female clone of Wolverine with the codename “X-23.”

Nerdist revealed from a source to the production that the main villains will be a gang of cybernetic-enhanced mercenaries known as the Reavers. In the comics, the Reavers were under the command of X-Men villain, Donald Pierce, who programmed the cyborgs to hunt down and eliminate all mutants. Rumors suggest British actor Richard E. Grant is playing Pierce as his role has been kept under wraps.

The Wolverine 3,” which is rumored to be titled "Wolverine: Weapon X" is directed by James Mangold and stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Elise Neal, and Eriq La Salle. The film comes out on March 2, 2017.
