Claudia McNeil was born on August 13, 1917 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. She was an actress, known for A Raisin in the Sun (1961), Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry (1978) and The Last Angry Man (1959). She died on November 25, 1993 in Englewood, New Jersey, USA.

She was nominated for a 1975 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Guest Artist for her performance in "A Raisin in the Sun" at the Candlelight Forum Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
