My own health problems began when I worked on the docks in Australia. You would take your shirt off first thing in the morning because of the heat. Nobody knew anything about sun cancer in those days, and it was only about eight years ago that the medical people became aware of it. It would have been picked up earlier if Marion had been at home instead of in hospital. The first time that I noticed it, and became aware of the problem, was when I saw my shirt was covered in blood. People who work outside will always be at risk.
