Still owns the Jason Voorhees tombstone seen in "Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives", which he wrote and directed. This same tombstone can also be seen on the teaser trailer for the film.

The hands you see opening the coffin lid at the beginning of "Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives" are his hands, due to Thom Matthews not being available that day.

Said in an interview that he keeps the Jason Voorhees tombstone from "Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives" in his backyard, and people have often mistaken it for an actual tombstone. One such misconception occured when the meter man refused to go into Tom's backyard and read the gas meter because he thought there was actually somebody buried there.
